Thought that someone in the area may be interested: Http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/cto/2815603199.html. Don't know anything about it, but at $875 it would be worth it in early Z parts alone!

Sorry if there is a spotted thread I couldn't find it, but I just woke up and haven't had any coffee so... Anyways, two days ago driving up Oracle spotted a beautiful super clean, solid Z. Looked like a 240, color was a darker blue with maybe a hint of green, actually it looked just like the Datsun engine paint color. Black rear spoiler, looked like possibly BRE, the car definitely had a cage in it. Appeared to be father driving with his son (lucky darn kid), my girlfriend and I were in my red BMW E30, behind you for a little bit then came up on your side and told you your Z was awesome. Yesterday evening we were just coming home and the same Z, with same father and son d…

First, I shoot in tactical handgun competitions and have turned the two compartments behind the seats of my 240 into one pistol box and one ammo box using foam and felt linings. I would now like to install some locks in the lids, has anyone out there done this without having to weld "D rings" or other lock slug hardware in the lids? If so, where did you get the locks?

I talked to the owner and got some more pics as I seriously considered flying out this weekend to look at it. However with a $500 flight and $1000+ in shipping back to TX I am just not in a position to pick this one up so I thought I would post it up here. Has a aftermarket AC, newer paint, alum. radiator, a high quality driver piece. Looks to be worth every bit of $7K http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/cto/2860220134.html I want a 240z so bad and Texas offers nothing at reasonable prices. Contrary to popular belief, all cars here are just as rusty as just about everywhere else. I missed out on a nice 240z in Houston because I just could not get out there from Aust…

As these are a bit of a novelty/rarity I thought I'd post the link. (no relation to seller, yada yada) http://nashville.craigslist.org/pts/2851081227.html (here's the text of the page-minus phone numbers-for when the ad is gone) Datsun 240z cowl hood - $100 (Bellevue) I have a cowl hood off a Datsun 240z for sale. Could use a good cleaning and some paint but a good hood. For questions call or text Joel (615)423-xxxx or Ronnie (615)636-xxxx Thanks for looking.

I took the barn find out for about a 100 mile rip through the foothill twistys today. First time I've taken it more than just around town since putting on the new head. It runs and handles awesome. Love this car! Thought I'd share a few pics.
