I hope someone here can help me. I am almost certain I saw a thread on making one's own fuel line insulators. I can not relocate that thread. If someone knows of that thread if you could direct me in that direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance. Newtonhubcap!

With so many posts about cars listed on Ebay this one popped up this evening and thought it was deserving of a post here. For the work that has been done, the color combo, and options I think the BIN of $13K is very fair. If someone got this for $11K - $12K they would be getting a deal! Check it out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fully-Restored-Blue-280Z-/220952783382?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3371cfea16

Like so many other Z owners the locks in my ’77 280Z had reached a point where they no longer functioned. After some searching I came across the thread below. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?40683-Door-Lock-repair-for-S30-s This write up is for the second method shown in the thread by member DBCJMC. I successfully used this method to repair my driver side lock. Wanting to expand on what is involved in making this type of repair I have provided the following instructions below on repairing my passenger side lock. *Disclaimer: I am not an auto repair professional, I am not ASE certified, and do not take any responsibility for any damage incurred …

Hey guys, I'm selling what I believe are 1975 280z bumpers on my late 1974 260z. Maybe they were stock, maybe someone swapped them in, regardless, the back is in good condition with only minor surface rust in it (see pics). The front bumper has the same surface rust, but also has a dent on it and needs to be horizontally realigned when placed on your car. From what I gather, this particular style is rare and only made for 1-2 years (correct me if I'm wrong, pls!). Here's a wiki article that says the same thing (but I wouldn't vouch for it!) Asking $300 for the bumpers without brackets or $350 for everything altogether. Willing to negotiate a bit. Parts are locate…

Just wondering how many guys on here have been to a Z Dayz event? I'm considering going (FYI 17-20 May) and would like any info on a good place to stay (well lit parking lot with decent security). Do many S30s show up, or is it aimed more at 300-370s? Thanks in advance.

Did any of you catch the episode of Archer tonight? Some cool old Japanese cars, including a Z-which ended up over a cliff. Fortunately it's an animated show.

I bout some door rubber from them and they didnt allow the door to close, big waste of time and money. Now I need some other rubber parts, was thinking of ordering from them as they have the best prices. Any one have an opinion on the quality of the weatherstrip from them? Thanks, W

Original owner Z with its original documents, orig. spare, no rust, untouched with exception of one repaint. Not many of these out there, are there? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619&item=330681188223&viewitem=&category=6187

Hi all. This is my first thread just for some feedback. Ive got a choice between two 240z's 1 with the origanal engine and 1 without an engine. I only want the car for road use but would like the maximum hp for such use. Should i go with the origanl L24 s6 or something else? I aint no machanic but am enjoying finding out all i can as im facinated with these cars. Money is an issue but the best things in life are worth waiting for. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm a young SSgt in the Air Force stationed in Texas. When i was young my mom owned a 1977 280z that was going to become by first car. Well, she wrecked it before i turned 16 and it was impossible for us (very poor) to restore. Ever since then it has been my dream to own a 280z. I'm in love with the car. If anyone is getting rid of a 280Z i can afford to pay 3,000 for it ( shipping will cost me around 1,200.) I wish i could offer more but with 2 kids that live 1600 miles away it costs me over $500 each time i want to visit them, so I dont have a lot left over. I've been saving here and there for the past 6 years and I assure you if there is anyone who wou…
