Does anyone have a specific point of contact with this company that knows about car parts? I hate calling into their call center and getting people that don't know an MG from a Z car. I noticed they don't have an email address on their website either.. Thanks, Greg Ira

I'm sorry for asking such an obvious and probably constant question, but where are the best sources for parts for my 1971 240Z/Scarab? I've found: - http://www.zcarsource.com/ - http://www.thezstore.com/ - ebay and Craigslist of course But there must be more, right? For example I was looking for a set of fiberglass bumpers and some odds and ends for my interior. Any help would be appreciated. All the best and THANK YOU !!! Tim

Anyone used these products and have any comments about how they work? A friend of mine suggested using them when I repaint my engine bay. It's Lizard Skin products (http://www.lizardskin.com) the sound control and ceramic insulation. Thanks guys!

I've been dishing out too much of it lately, and feel awful, even if it is not my fault. Just rose over the middle hump of this semester of college. Working my arse off to keep up on school work and work work. The carport is covered in Z parts, and more Z parts lurking around in the house. (Had a whole room covered in parts before organizing) the engine bay of the Z has had everything out of it for a while now just waiting to be cleaned, scraped and painted. Engine is ready to repaint, boxes full of new parts to install, dash is on the final stretch of restoration... My Z gun is cocked but I don't have a minute to pull the trigger. I sadly haven't done any work on the Z …

I was in the Lynnwood area this morning and saw a 1971 240Z in the PicknPull. It still had the engine in it, with carbs, and there were some odd good parts still left. Rear brake drums, some front end pieces, etc. The bumpers were bent up and there was some other body damage, but there might be something there for a restorer. It is incorrectly labeled as a 1971 280 on their web site - http://www.picknpull.com/check_inventory.aspx?Address=98037&Lat=47.841953&Lng=-122.288181&Make=Datsun&Model=280&Distance=20

Hey guys Are all L series motors (24,26,28) have the same timing cover on them? Mine has a leak on the water pump due to corrosion and I wish to replace it if possible. Jan

Here is my engine bay with it's carbed L28 as it sits today: Two issues, there are no air filters to the carbs and it has the aftermarket do-dad on the valve cover. Here is a picture of an original Austin Healey motor: I have a set of Austin Healey air cleaners heading my way; $5 ebay win Getting them to fit as is shouldn't take too much work and note the inlet for the valve cover. Getting them to fit with the stock air horns (I have an original 240Z air cleaner) will take quite a bit more work and I think I have the space to get them to fit. The car runs great right now and when I plant my foot, the car really gets up and goes. Does anyone know how much…

I was looking at the crank pulley today on a new engine i am putting together for my 72. It is a L24 out of another parts car. It has a two row pulley and I was looking at it and i cannot find any timing notces or marks. The motor in my car is a three row with the pointer and notches. I think I am going to need a different pulley in order to time it. This does not seem normal to me. ( all the pulleys I have seen have notches or that piece that is attached to the pulley. Anybody have thoughts or advice on this? Thanks in advance John:)

I need some Datsun material science advice. Last years thread talks about fabricating insulators to replace the old rubber for the car's plumbing. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29518&highlight=brake+line+rubber What is a good source of rubber for this task? Something like this... http://www.amazon.com/Superior-18-1701-Rubber-Spring-Booster/dp/B00029K20M/ref=pd_sbs_auto_3 or maybe this http://www.jewelrysupply.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=20399
