I had the rubber hose running over the carbs. All the line sold at the part stores were coated, so my flaring tool wouldn't work. I went to the local pick and pull and for $6 cut out plenty of line. I bent, flared and routing the hard line under the carbs.

I am running a Holley Red pump at the tank right now but it freezes up on me lately. It also sounds like a lawnmower under the car. Any relatively low cost ideas?

I have a 1976 280z in very good condition. I want to maintain its value. Here is the question. What Performance Modifications can I do if any and still maintain the value of the Z? 2nd Found that the line to the muffler had rusted through. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Keep in mind I want to maintain or increase the value of the car and not diminish it in any way.

I was just wondering how many of you have eliminated the hot water line thru the carbs and the return line on the other side of the motor. With what results? I live in Oregon so it gets a little cold in the winter. I have a new motor put together and noticed after I put the manifold and everything:angry: on that the exit hole on the back was plugged because the threads were broken off internally. I guess I could take them out with an easy out, but I know that some people just eliminate the line and was just wondering what they thought. It would be an easier solution for sure . Any thoughts? Thanks in advance John

I'm in the process of making my 72 240z road worthy, and it's just about ready. However, when i try to accelerate quickly the car studders for a sec, then accelerates fairly smooth. The car will rev up easily and smoothly when in neutral, and driving it around makes the problem a little bit better. I'm kinda stumped on why it accelerates in gear the way it does. So far I have: -rebuilt ALL the fuel system -put new plugs and points -new thermostat -new fluids -Dialed in the carbs and cleaned them up That's all I can remember right now that could effect the acceleration, any help to solve this would be greatly appreciated! Chase

I met a guy who has a front spoiler for sale for the 240z. However, he didn't have it with him and had a hard time describing it to me. He said it was "Spook" styled, and bolted to the lower valance, not replacing it. Anyways he has a Nissan/Datsun part number for it and I was seeing if someone on here could figure out which spoiler he has. Thanks! Chase 240, 260Z (70-74 1/2) 2701083 - BFE FIBERGLASS AIR DAM
