So I've noticed a lot of Z cars on the sales block, on the newly set up DatsunClassifieds and have also noticed prices ranging from under $1000 to upwards of $30,000. I'm a simple guy who wants the most I can get for my hard earned money. So besides the fact and general opinion that "Your Z is worth what You think it's worth", How do I determine what my Early 72' Green 240Z is worth? I obviously plan on selling it to help pay for the finishing of the 260Z project and free up some room here at the house. So please read the following and tell me what you'd Honestly pay for this particular 240Z. Thanks in advance. 1972 (12/71') 240Z - HLS30-53007 113 Green Metalic (resp…

Though she rode in it once before, this was the first time my wife rode in the Z since the interior was finished. Now it actually feels like a complete car inside. We took Highway 92 west to Highway 1, then headed up the Pacific Coast Highway north of Half Moon Bay. We stopped for very tasty lunch at a seafood place with a view of the ocean. The car ran great and garnered lots of second looks and a few "thumbs up" with smiles. (Former S30 owners I presume). I never pushed it as there was a little traffic in spots, but it sure was fun when I had some open road in front of me. It was very satisfying to feel my little Z hug the corners and climb the coastal hills …

Ok, so it's been some time since I've posted or even been on this site. Thougth I would give ya'all an update. Right around the time I stopped posting, the city took my 280z. City rolled by my place and off it went. I have the number for the tow yard where it's at, and I might try to get it back at some point, but likely it wont happen. Sucks because I relaly liked my datsun too.

I saw this listing on ebay listed a couple hours ago for a 78 black 280Z with pretty heavy Black Pearl evidence. Story is it was found in a house the seller was demolishing and has sat for 21 years as evidenced by inspection stickers and license tabs. If you're interested in a Black Pearl... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Z-Series-1978-DATSUN-280Z-/110564492569?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item19be284519

Well, got my Sandra Dee on the road today- and what a thrill! Final touch was replacing the battery, bought a Duralast Gold w/750 cold cranking amps, 935 cranking amps and 130 reserve minutes.. now it fits my car just fine- but is this too big for this application? Should I return it for a smaller one w/lower CCA or cranking amps? I don't want to damage the system- but on another note, the car likes the juice and gave me what she had!

77 280z. To change headlight bulbs, do they come out from the front or from behind?

I have no idea what parts are original or what parts may not be. Condition is kind of rough. I've been watching it for a couple of months and decided I should save it from the crusher and keep some parts alive. I have a couple of phone pics , will post more pics tomorrow. Engine says L20 and the darn steering wheel is on the wrong side. I don't want it , maybe somebody can use some stuff on it. I also got the title with the car. Serial number on the firewall says GS31 010623 - I think it's a Fairlady but is it?

Hi guys. I've asked this before but for the some reason cannot find the post. I'm leaving my Z parked as I go on vacation for a month. Other than pull the battery and cover the car with a cover is there anything else I should do? Jan
