Is this a Datsun Taillight? It looks pretty cool, I like the design with the circle bleeding off into a chrom stip through the center. Says it's made by Koito and part number is S10576. Looks to me to be a Toyota Corona, Crown or Cresida style though. Tail Light Link Here ~Z~

I spent the morning installing Dave's (Zs-ondabrain) head light, parking light and alternator upgrade kits. I know many good things have been said about these products but I want to add my thumbs up as well. Excellent quality, easy to install and they do everything that they are supposed to. My kids also decided that my father's day gift would be a free car detailing. Gotta love being a father.

Anyone on here in the Torrance/Redondo Beach to Santa Monica area? If you are please shoot me a PM as I will be in those areas on business. Interested in what Z stuff there is in the area and maybe even attempting to meet up.

Well I finally heard from these guys. I guess they lost my transaction and offered to either return my money or wait on the next shipment of brake lines which will be in 4 weeks. I am definitely going to get my money back. They have never acknowledged the numerous emails, failed phone calls, or the paypal claim. I don't know why they finally decided to get in touch with me but I have had enough. I would really be careful if anyone is thinking of using them in the future. carl

Hey all, Here is my 1971 240z it is a series 1 with a build date of November 1970 has the vented rear hatch, emblems, ash tray, etc that go along with a series one. This was the first Z car that I purchased and I learnt a lot from the minor things I did on it. Unfortunately it did not turn out to be the dream car I hoped it would be, sadly all too often the story for many a new Z owner. After suspicions from looking over and working on the car I had it checked out by a local Z shop some of you might know Z Car Garage, San Jose, CA. It turns out there is a twist in the chassis from what appears to be a bad front-end repair. After looking closer it seems the car was hit in…

Evening everyone , you have all been here or hope to be soon . Two years ago I started my tear down and after a lot of sweat and knuckle blood , a bit too much cursing and emptying my wallet many times , our 71 Z is cruising the streets and turning heads all over the place ! I promised my oldest son that it would be ready for his high school graduation this past Friday , and short of a couple '' well many '' incomplete things , we put a ten day permit on her and he and is girl had the coolest car to go to grad with . I won't go on about all the things we did , but the fact of the matter is that when we started this project we had a discussion about seeing the job thr…

Geico is my insurance provider, and the z has the basic liability coverage to make it street legal, but they told me that a collector car insurance provider of sorts would be better for theft & damages coverage since the raw value of a z isnt' going to offer much if the car is stolen or damaged or whatever else. What coverage do yall have?

I remember gasoline additive were added some years ago for desert climate states. Here in Nevada, they stopped this year or a year a go and vapor lock is becoming a more serious problem than last year and we are not even in the 115F of the summer. I have an electric fuel pump, filters are replaced twice a year, engine is properly tuned and there is nothing else I can do for a full original vintage Z. I have the dealer installed A/C fully restored a couple of years ago blowing accordingly to specs, an auxiliary electric fan to cool the condenser which maintains the air at the dash outlet to 51F and on this side, I am happy to use the car as a comfortable daily driver if i …

Don't know if anyone's interested, but just bought a classic replica NJ inspection sticker for $15 plus shipping. www.InspectionSticker.net Looks like they cover all states from 1928 to 1986 plus some military, gas ration, old logos and WW2 stickers, etc. Picked up one for May 1971 to match my build date. Just thought it'd be cool to have displayed on windshield.

Hi, I'm new to forums and 240z's for that matter so please bare with me. I am looking at buying a 1971 240z from a friend and I would like to get an idea of what it is worth. I can't seem to get a good idea from other classifieds so maybe you guys can help me. Alot of what I know about it was told to me by my friend, so that's what I'm working with. -It is in Ontario, Canada and has been for about 5 years now but it is originally from California. -It spent some time outside (maybe 1 or 2 years) but has been kept in a barn for the past year. -It is a 4 speed manual and apparently had been running a year ago but not driven (does not run as of right now). -The car rolls …
