I was going through some old piles of parts in our shop and came across an early NOS Braided upper radiator hose still in its original bag. I had heard these are hard to come by and it made me wonder what is the most difficult part to acquire.

Hello, for someone interested Z432/Z432-R, I recently have got the very interesting data seat from a gentleman. This gentleman was given this data by someone in 10 years ago.He said the man who gave this data was a serious fanatic of Z432/Z432-R. The paper listed all of the owner of Z432 including Z432-R in Japan. This paper has date 24th APR 1978 must be printed out/prepared by employee of Nissan dealer somewhere in Japan. Japan has 47 prefecutres, this data shows each prefecture's owners detail. I can not show them directly here because I am told not to do so by the gentleman. The listing shows owners name, adress, chassis number, registration date, expire date, e…

So when I first bought my 280z a few months ago these parts were scattered in the trunk. Im not sure if they even belong with this car but I figured it was worth checking here first! I have what I believe to be part numbers for two of the mystery parts... Picture 1: 1 946 434 Picture 2: 1 946 433 Any input is helpful. Thank you John

Hey guys, I frequent some of the other boards (i.e. zcar, etc), but I just recently joined here. I currently have a '09 370z, and today I ask for you help as I am ready to buy my first 240z. Hey, so I am about to look at a 1971 240 with a (what the seller says) is a 1977 carbureted L28. Chassis: Approx 160k miles, engine approx 60k miles. New wheels, great interior, great paint, great body, clean title. I will know the extent of rust issues when I finally see it, but he stated that there is some surface rust (Originally CA car, now has been in AZ since the 80's). link: http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/1670426677.html Couple Questions: 1. What year was the L…

Question for the site's pundits. The thread about tickets got me thinking. Just how fast is my non-stock Z? I'll never actually find out firsthand. Car specs: 1972 240Z Rebello 2.7 liter upgrade & stage3 cam: 212 hp @ 197 ft-lbs torque Stock 4 speed & diff. BRE style front & rear spoilers Lowered 1/2 " w/ eibach springs and tokico blues. All new wheel bearings & brakes, tranny & diff flushed and refilled with MT90. I expect it will do better than the stock 124 mph top speed. Question is, how much faster? 130? -135? - ?? Any racers / Z gurus willing to make an educated guess-timate?

Was showing-off the car to a friend yesterday. We zipped around a corner a bit fast, and I didin't see the police car sitting at the intersection about 100 yards away. I immediately told my passenger, "I think I'm about to get a ticket". The police car followed me, (right on my bumper), for about a block before letting me off-the-hook and turning off at the next corner. Have had a clean driving record for years, but this is only the second time in 40 years driving that I've "deserved" a ticket and not gotten one... Serves as a good reminder to drive "mellow" when not in the proper venue! :classic:

ok folks i think i have found the one, 75 260z with plenty of work done, its had a few owners who loved it very much, has had a lot of chassis work welding etc, inner arches are all new, 280 gearbox, engine rebuild, rear tailgate needs some attention (some rust bubbling). the only thing i dont like about it is it has a sunroof, although the seller claims there is no rust or leeks. has loads of receipts over the years, havnt seen it in person yet, planning a trip next week hopefully. any sugestions what i should be looking out for in particular?

I tried to login earlier and got a godaddy page that said the domain expired yesterday. Thought that was kind of wierd so I went back about half an hour later and it was down still. Do we need a web-a-thon to raise funds? John
