Hi guys, I have found a complete diesel motor. What is the crank worth to someone wanting to build a stroker? I don't really have a use for it but hate to see it go to waste. ( I am trying to decide if it is worth my time and effort to fool with it) Thanks, Leonard

A/C or no A/C... That is the question? I have all of the stock A/C equipment for my 73 240 and all but the compressor is still installed. The Z has a fairly built motor but the rest of the car needs alot of TLC. She was my first car and I got her back not too long ago. I am beginning the process of restoring her as money and time permits. I do live in southern California but I am leaning more toward eliminating the A/C. What do you think....Should I keep the A/C or Go without? Please reply...Give me your thoughts.

I have wanted one of these models for years. I just didn't want to spend $130 and have to pay shipping from Hong Kong. 1/12th scale Tamiya 240ZG. It appears to come with the standard front end as well and that is how I will build mine. Well this weekend I found one on ebay from a guy in VA for half the usual asking price. 2000 items and 99.9% feedback. It's new in the box as well so..... While looking around for detail sets etc, I came across this guy's build. Truly amazing!!!!! Note the parking break linkage, hood catch, diff, fuel system etc.!!! Unreal. Cannot wait to start on mine. I am thinking of doing a barn find version with rust etc. I will take lots of pix of…

Hi, i am currently searching for my first z and i cant wait till i finally get one, could some one please tell me if there is any differences in the actual body shape from 72 -78. i am aware of the differences with the bumpers and the lights. is the body of the later models (2x2) slighty longer than the earlier models (2 seater)? i read in one site that the wheelbase in the 2x2 is 10 inches longer. is this true? basicaly i want to know are all zs from 72-78 exactly the same in shape and dimensions other that the bumper and lights differences. thanks.

Hi all, my goal is to get my 71 Frankenstein z as road worthy as possible over 3 months this summer, with roughly $2000 budget. I've been away at school, but will be back home finally with a bit of time to work on the car in the mornings and on weekends. So for a little background info on the car. It's a series 1 71 240z with a L28/5speed and E88 head, roundtop SU carbs. Compression looked decent (around 170 with +/-5psi). I rebuilt the carbs with the ZT kit. New mechanical fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel lines, tank, (old tank had rotten fuel sitting in it) rotor, cap, plugs, wires. So it runs decently, albiet loudly, (exhaust leak somewhere) The one thing that wor…

Advertised as a '71, but if that's the case the seller has the VIN incorrect. The valve cover is not that of an early Series I, so who knows what the deal is. Starting price is too much for the condition; however, the seller states that he is willing to take offers on individual parts. I know there must be a few people on the board here close to Jacksonville, FL. I'd really appreciate another set of local eyes / input on my attempt to resurrect a '77 280Z. I'm doing it as a favor for a friend, but if I can get it running and it still looks in decent mechanical order, I may end up picking it up from him. Let me know if you're local and available for a barrage of questions from a Z Car neophyte.

Hi Guys, I am selling my yellow '71 to a guy that lives in Toronto. For you guys up north that have bought US cars; what needs to be done and what paperwork needs to be filed to bring a car across the border after purchase in the US? Thanks for your help. Marty
