   Please help someone selling a turbo block with flat piston rebuilt for $350..but the number 5 cylinder have a sleeve on it..what do u think having sleeve on a one cylinder for longevity, wearness and vulneverity..

   I put jack stands on the lower front differential cross member when working on the fuel tank level sender seal, but I feel like that was too far inward for comfort if I'm going to be actually under the car. Do the seat belt retractor pockets behind the seats have the beef to put jack stands there?

   Finally long waited heater hose kit for Datsun 240Z will be here in late April. It will be available from MSA. The kit will come in: 1. Heater inlet hose 2. Heater outlet hose 3. Side bypass hose All braided by OEM supplier in Japan. Price is not finalized yet as we have not done figuring out shipping cost.

   I've recently read that swapping out seats will increase the driving pleasure of the Z. Currently, I have original seats reupolstered in a cloth by the PO. They are nice, but are a bad color. What is you experiance in swapping of seats in your 240z? The good? The Bad? The Ugly? Problems w/ rails? etc...

   Hey guys. This isn't a problem but I'm just curious about something. My Z usually runs at about 180 or so on the temp gauge. Recently I was working on my Z after taking it for a drive. I noticed that the upper radiator hose was much hotter than the lower one. Is that normal? A friend told me that usually the thermostat my be clogged or stuck when such a thing occurs. The car does not over heat, does not run hot and doesn't seem to have any problems. I'm just wondering if I should replace the thermostat, although its only three months old. Jan

   I have seen many cars with "SPORT MIRRORS" that have little sharper shape than original mirrors on 280Z cars. Here I have few pictures from listing on Ebay. Parts # is accessary #, and they look just like Mustang II manual mirrors in late 70's. If so, did Nissan use mirrors from Ford Mustang?

    Ello everyone. I am in the market for a 240Z and I think I finally found one I think is worth it. Just for the record, I will only drive Nissans. I currently own a 2002 Spec-V that I am boosting in a month, but I want something RWD, sexy, and classic for the weekends, and I think I found it. It is a 1971 240Z. It has been upgraded with a 75' L28 block and N42 head shipped in a crate from Japan around 1990, and has a 5 speed from a 83 NA ZX. The car runs fine and looks great, no body rust whatsoever. The car is sexy. I am going to look at it in person on Saturday, test drive it and what not. I need to know if there is anything to look for problem wise. I already …
