Hello everyone, can anyone tell me if the fron suspension components of a '75 280 will fit my '74 260? a couple of '75s have shown up at my local pick a part and thet seem to have good parts in them, I habe already gotten some interior parts off of them, but would like to get parts from the suspension.

Wink Mirrors 1 2

I have seen these mirrors for sale since the early '70s but never have seen one in person mounted in a car. Below one is pictured in the book "How to Modify Datsun engines & chassis" and mounted in a 510. The thought came to me as I was reading Arne's tint strip group buy thread. I thought the mirrors would tuck up nicely and not be as noticeable from the outside of the car with such a strip. The Wink mirrors come in 4 or 5 panel configurations, maybe others too, depending on the vehicle. Some are plastic, some are made from billet aluminum. Ebay has them listed all the time. Has anyone here driven a car using these mirrors? I used to think they were kind of cheesy b…

Theres a 280ZX at Helping Hands, on Route 1 in Foxboro, MA (just off of rt. 495 heading towards Gilette Stadium) if anyone is interested. Its rusted to hell (probably too badly to save) but the writing on the windshield says it runs good. Its an automatic, non-turbo. Looks like either 113,000 or 213,000 miles on the clock. Probably some good parts. Looks like they're asking $750.

Have been in Scottsdale,AZ since Tuesday visiting all the classic car auctions, left Russo and Steele just a few hours before 60 mile per hour winds blew away both tents covering 600+ cars. Many cars damaged, it was unreal. Barrett Jackson closed all areas except the main stage. The one year I decide to go to Scottsdale and they receive record breaking rain and wind......figures. Sorry to say no Z cars for sale........ Maybe Friday will be better, but I don't see how Russo and Steele can re-open.

I hate when things go wrong when you try to fix things up. I was replacing three connectors that were barely hanging on, everything went ok until i had to disconnect the connector to this valve and the whole switch pulled out. I pushed it back in and started up the car, not sure if this is my problem or if i wired one of the other plugs wrong, i did them just like my injectors and had no problems. The car runs super rich and stalls out :disappoin

Just a little story, ** Two months before starting this trip, I really only had a general concept of how an engine works, and NO IDEA how to work on a z** I recently drove from Whistler (near Vancouver) to Kingston (near Toronto) in what was, until recently, my dad's old project car. He was looking to sell, and I had been watching, helping him in the garage since I was 8. There was no way anyone but me was taking it. It has been sitting in the driveway, snowed on every winter, for >10 years. Started and given a short drive yearly. This was June/July 09, we spent a couple weeks prep and I went along my way. I learned a bit. Weatherstrip, changed a door, electrical/lig…
