I am by no means a novice when it comes to car detailing. I shop for all the good products, use all the good equipment, and pretty much do not believe in paying anybody to touch my cars ever. Did you name your Z? Is it a boy car or a girl car? Why did you choose that name, or did it just happen (and how)? I'm a new Z owner of an orange '70 240. I'm thinking of calling her Pumpkin, Dizzy, or Kitty.

Hello all Two weeks from now I'm going on vacation down to Florida. As I am not yet convinced that my 76' 280z can make the journey I'm leaving it here in Tucson while I spend three weeks with the family. So I'm wondering are there any things I should do before I go and leave my Z for three weeks? The car will most just sit in a friends yard while I am away. Any ideas will be great. Jan

i had a 78 280z that was destroyed last night when my grandads barn burt to the ground. We got our first taste of winter in Southern New Hampshire this morning! Its been snowing since around 6:00 am. Enough of that. I was curious to hear what everyone who has to put up with cold snowy winters, does with their car(s) this time of year. I will continue to work on mine, of course, but what is the best way to do this? My garage is older, no heat. For the most part I'll be going back and forth from the garage to the basement to work on parts. What do you all do? John

I've switched my computer out for a new one and I guess upgraded to Explorer 8 from 7 and now the only thing that will open on the CD is the introduction. (27 pages) Nothing else will open up. Any suggestions?

Ever since i bought my 280Z, i get this question a lot, "What are you planning to do with it?" The answer to this is what i love the most about the S30 Z cars. I figure most of us fit into one of three categories: 1) Classic restoration: This guy loves the mystique of the car and wants to restore it to the day it drove on to the dealer floor, with attention to detail and period correct parts. 2) Hot rod: this guys loves the car for what i can do.
