Just saw this ad on craigslist. The car is about 15 minutes from me, so I may go take a look at it tomorrow and find what they hope to get for it: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/ctd/1395378600.html Is anyone potentially (seriously) interested in it. Probably a totally rust free California car with original paint, matching numbers, and all documentation from the day it was new. York air conditioning compressor (after fiddling with it for 20 years that's the system I gave up on).

Anyone can chime in but I bet Carl has the answer. The season is over, capped off with a nice but not impressive win at Infineon. So, where can I restore my "classic" American mags back to their original condition? And no, you can't have them Carl.

Out of the freeway today I noticed that braking was not as responsive as before. The pedal is hard, there is a very low hiss sound and when I put the the foot on the brake pedal, THE ENGINE RPM GOES UP. May it be a vacuum issue with the master vac from one of the hoses or a failure of the vac itself and how to check? My feeling is the vac......it is the original from 72 and the hoses are the same original from 37 years ago.

anybody aware of this one and if original? Looks nice. I may be interested if somebody may confirm it is as good as in the pictures. It looks straight and original.

Not leaving the Z car ranks, just need a 4 seater so I can take the family to car shows. I'm still in the process of building another V-8 car. http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=4256&cat=1

I'm looking to get a z car (probably 76-79 280z) and wanted to know any information people have on car insurance options. I have heard of "classic car insurance" and don't know much about it. I also am interested in what the most suggested thing to do as far as insurance is concerned. I am trying to get an idea as to how much to expect in cost for insurance and what the wisest thing to do for it should be. This will be a car in good to very good condition, a 2nd car to be driven just some of the time (not the main car I'm driving). I live in a big city in Texas, and it would be garage kept (possibly with a cover as well). Thanks, C

I was just browsing another thread and happened to stumble on this little tidbit: http://jdm-car-parts.com/ Esprist One of our members has been busy putting this website together for our viewing pleasure. Fantastic!! - I'm going to have to go back just to make sure what I saw - great information and great items to purchase. I did just purchase the e-brake cable from Esprist last week via telephone (but I didn't know all this was availble to purchase). The e-brake cable was a dead on perfect - reproduction - slipped right into the exact place as the original - my e-brake cable was hanging on by two stands of wire I better start saving my quarters!!
