I've always been so curious as to what exactly the difference is between all the gas companies. I try to stick with Shell or Chevron but is it worth the 10 or 20 extra cents per gallon? Also, I try to use premium all the time but my 280 seems to run fine with regular. I don't drive it very hard. Does the Z need premium?

Ok, here's a challenge for you graphicaly gifted Z people... I got a Garmin GPS yesterday. There are downloadable car icons you can put on the screen. I put the Speed Racer Mach 5 on mine. The icons are a 3-D .swf file. Anyody capable and interested in making a 240Z icon? (if you do make one, please make a silver one as well...) Julio

If anyone needs a car moved from west coast(San Diego) to anywhere as far east as new hampshire area or the midwest somewhere let me know. A good friend just won a very cool car on Ebay and is leaving very soon to pick it up in The North east and has a large empty trailer going back. For a small fee to help with gas someone could have that rust free Z car they always wanted moved from SoCal to the rest of the US. Call me and and I can arrange contact. Thanks Les 760 940-6365

Has anyone seen or used this product? ISIS Was watching Two Guys Garage back in May and seen this new system called ISIS Intelligent Multiplex System that is out for cars. They say it can be made for any car out there. It looks like this could be a very good if not great substitute for the stock wiring in a Z car.

Anyone have any thoughts about some driving lights for my 73 240Z. I have seen some hellas at black dragon and I also have seen some at the cibie web site as well. I do have a front air dam with vents for the brakes. Where is the best place to mount the driving lights. Which lights are better hellas or ciebies?

Hi, My name is Kubus and I dont currently have a Z-car. My dad is thinking about buying my uncle's car. Im completely new to the Z-car world and I have absolutely no previous knowledge of these cars. Here is a photo of the car in question: It is the orange car hiding behind my LS1. Its there under the blanket. Im assuming the car has to be from between 1969 and 1973 since my uncle has always referred to it as a 240. He disassembled this car in the early 80's as far as I know and it has been sitting in pieces in his garage ever since. All original parts are still there. He saw a tiny bit of rust and felt that it warranted being disassembled. Now here is where t…

I took the Z to my 1st gathering this weekend in North Attleboro, MA. Thought I'd share the pics. The star of the show was the lime green VZ car, it was stunning. Pretty good turnout, about 20, which is 20 more Z's than I've seen in the last 2 years. There were about 7 or 8 240's.

Does anyone have or know of a spread sheet with part description and the Nissan part number for a '73 Z. I want to make an excel spread sheet to track what parts I have replaced and parts I still need to replace. I've tried searching but didn't find what I'm looking for. I have all the information from the fiche but I was hoping to get a head start and not have to enter all the information from scratch. I want to make a list mainly of all the rubber parts, seals, gaskets etc. I know MSA & Black Dragon have kits for many of the parts but I need to go way beyond that. Thanks for your help:) Brad

I need info on the original inner body hatch weatherstrip. Is it a three or four piece set and how does it compare to the repro set sold by MSA and others?

For those that were stating awhile back that you didn't like where your gauge needles were and thought the engine temps were too high, I have a solution. As those gauges don't show temp readings per se it's hard to say when or when not temps are too high. I have just received a temp indicator strip that shows gradations from 160 to 230 in 8 steps. I stuck it on my thermostat housing and it turned black to 180which is exactly where my gauge showed. If enough would like to purchase a strip for $10 delivered via mail I'd be happy to bring some in from overseas )not China) and fill orders. Cheers
