I have located an almost pristine 71. The body is acutally perfect-literally. underhood, too. No shortcuts, bondo, etc. Where there was rust, it was properly cut out. its that good. It is far and away the best body I've seen. The owner had the car done and has over 30,000 in receipts (I've seen them, too). Chrome, perfect, tires and wheels perfect. It is white with blue interior. The bad- un original issues (though there were done well). It has had the door panels redone VERY well, but not original. Has installed remote door locks and an aftermarket stereo. He has a very professionally installed amp, and had the speakers mounted in the tool compatments (yes, t…

hi guys. well i've just recieved my carbon fibre bumpers fron MSA through my dealer in u.k. at first i thought they were scratches but on closer inspection it's the weave of the carbon fibre stretched on each corner of the front bumper. the back bumper is great. no bad rep intended to MSA because they supply some great quality products. but i was a little dissapointed. my agent is speaking to hear there thoughts. what do you think??

I just found this site- and I did search here for it and nothing came up- where the guy changed his engine to a Nissan D28 diesel, and turbo'd it. And the best thing is that it's a almost a drop-in installation!!! http://www.veggiecar1.com/ I have the LD28 Nissan diesel in my boat. So cool to have the same basic engine in one's car and boat! I love the idea of diesel-izing a Z car. Now I'm watching for these LD28 engines on ebay and other places, and I'm gonna find a nice Series One shell but with no engine, and build this same thing over the winter, as I'm moving to biodiesel for all of my other cars too- Mercedes 300CD-turbo diesel, and a 300D too. Going all the way …

Hi Everyone, I am searching for all the different "Z" style symbols. For example the classic Z symbol has if you will a slant line in the center. Let me know if you can help. Thanks!

If it would fit, you could keep it in the glovebox. So then where do you keep yours, if it's in the car? Maybe it could be reduced in size to fit the glovebox, if you printed it from the upcoming DVD archive? thxZ

I just found the original window sticker for my 280 Z. I did'nt buy it new, but I found the sticker in with some of the old paperwork the previous owner gave to me. It does'nt list the A/C on the sticker, but the car has A/C & it looks factory. Was A/C dealer installed in 1978? Thanks!

today I realized that my 240Z tail light panel would deserve a refresh. The car is original and I don't want to remove the panel for a complete restoration of this part. Is there any alternatives? The left side is still a darker grey color but the right side is discolored by the UV and is light grey colored. My questions are as follow: 1-Is it plastic? 2-Is the original color dark grey as I can guess on the left side? 3-What are the suggestions to match the light grey right side with the darker left side? It may seems silly but has somebody ever tried black shoe polish? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Does anyone here have the ZT Just SU's DVD, the one that walks you through rebuilding the carbs, that I could bum a copy from? I have it on VHS and of course no longer have a working VCR.
