Took these today and thought I'd share them. I plan to use the rear quarter view as my new desktop at work.

I talked myself out of spending the money right now and it is a longer distance to drive to look at than I'd want to do: http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/1178628668.html I can't say if it is a good find or not but I did get some more pictures emailed to me from the owner:

Our area car club held a car show this weekend in little ole' Nine Mile falls, Wa. There was a modern Carrol shelby/ Peter Brock Daytona Cobra on display. The owner said there were only like 12 or so made. I'm sure someone else on the forum knows more about this. The guy had a scrapbook with photos of Pete Brock with this car., and he had signed the cowling. Also talked to a guy with a 65 Vette roadster that said he once owned a 75 280 Z that was the"most fun car I ever owned", even compared to the Vette! And then there was this magnificent B-210, totally "tricked " out, including the fake NOX bottles in the hatch , made from chlorox bottles.

Are these still available from Nissan? I found the most current part number in the Nissan FAST system but it's not available. I'm probably going to buy one for $550 from new-datsun-parts.com. Is that a fair price for a brand new 240z bumper?

If you do plan a trip with your shopping list, credit card and a Fedex account, make sure you choose the right city & dealer to deal with. It makes a huge difference. You mentioned in another thread the tier pricing on volume that the dealers are eligible for. This allows a dealership with higher volume parts sales, some flexability when dealing with customers and they may be inclined to pass on some of the savings. Another thing I found out the hard way was the rather large price discrepancy caused by the dealers particular geographic location. I was told by my dealer that the cost of shipping the parts to them from the warehouse that has the parts in stock is charge…

I'm reassembling my windshield wiper assembly on my '70 Z resto after replating all of the parts, and the torsion spring on the pivot assembly at the motor/gearbox is broken. I also have 2 other windshield wiper assemblies which have the same broken spring. This is evidently a common thing? I did a search of all of the windshield wiper related issues and only found one reference to the spring and that portion of the linkage. It was in a discussion about disassembling the pivots and cleaning them (of which there were several other similar threads). A member had taken that portion apart and didn't know how to put it back together. His question was never addressed. I have a …

I've read some instructions on how to adjust the hinges on a 240z's hood to get it to line up properly, but all of the instructions I read were very unclear. The hood on my 240z is off center; when the hood is closed, there's barely any space between the driver's side fender and the hood and plenty of space on the passenger's side. Also, the hood is not sitting flush with the headlight bucket on the driver's side(it's slightly elevated above the headlight bucket). Does anyone have any labeled photos or detailed instructions on which bolts/nuts i need to turn to get the hood aligned properly?

I can't remember if I read about this or saw it on this site but I seem to remember that it will affect the performance of the car. Can anyone enlighten me on the downside, if any, on operating on low fuel reserve. I am specifically talking about an FI vehicle.

Saw this on CL. No affiliation. I think this is a Z and not a ZX by the description but I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section. http://richmond.craigslist.org/cto/1183591328.html
