As most followers on the subject know, my A/C original system has been fully restored and runs with freeze R-12. It work fine in the morning at around 75F. In the afternoon when over 85F the performance is close to none.....mostly hot air...or mild. My A/C tech told me to install a pusher electric fan in front of the condensor. I installed properly a Hayden 3680 as a pusher toward the engine. Today, the car has been in the sun all day. I barely see any improvement on the A/C performance at close to 100 degrees here in Vegas. Here are some questions in my mind: 1-I have a original radiator shroud......does it needs to be removed for better airflow from the electric fan? 2…

I want to paint my 260Z valve cover in black wrinkle paint. What is the best way to mask the letters and the ribs? Do you recommend using some kind of tape or do you prefer to use a greasy coating like petroleum jelly which will keep the paint from adhering. I am not a real good artist and at my age, my hands don't always follow directions as well as they should. Joe 74 260Z

On my way home from work tonite about 5:15 PM I saw a brown 240Z on a flatbed trailer . It was going North on highway 101 near 3rd Ave in San Mateo. No vents in the hatch, so I'm assuming it was a 72 or 73. Paint was oxidized, (or just very dirty), and the exhaust was hanging loose and bouncing. However, from the back the body looked straight. With traffic, I only got a rear 3/4 view. Anybody on the board pick this one up?

OK... so my friend has a diamond in his garage... whats it worth... can you believe this car sat in a garage for 20 years? 90K on the ODO.. He cleaned the tank and new injectors... fired up and it drives. So what is the market for something like this... it is all original and those are tru-spoke wheels. Help would be appreciated as usual.

Does the 1978z's odometer cycle over and if so at what amount of miles? The z I just bought reads 6.483. miles but I'm sure that's not accurate so if the odometer isn't broken then could that be from it cycleing over at say a 100,000. miles?

Not a bad deal i guess. $1000 75 280z Turbo 5spd, body kit it was a father son project and the kid started messing w/ drugs so they sold it. The owner says it needs a fuel pump. ive read a few tech threads here and its possible thats the issue. it has been sitting for 9 yrs. the ad reads.. Ill prob only get the red one for 1k. Im a die hard Chevy fan and restore old Muscle cars for a living. And I used to own a (covers mouth and mumbles) mitsubishi3000gt *cough. Yeah so i know how the new stuff works too.
