I have been absent from this wonderful board for a while and I miss talking the Z. Went down the roadster rabbit hole, then started collecting watches. Why the deviation? Well kids time has been the most important thing to me for a while. Corona messed up my timelimes for a lot of fun activities. Also the Z and Roadster have just not needed anything but an occasional drive to keep them in tip top condition. Both have been dead reliable for the past 3 years. But I felt I needed to get back on the board again to talk Z's again and connect with this excellent community I have been away from. This community which has been with me the whole way through the Z ownershi…

Greetings all, new member joining. Just picked up a green 71 Z. Seems to be all original, (no rust😁) with 69k miles, other then a repaint about 25 yrs ago. Planning to fix all the seemingly minor issues. Car has been sitting for many years, about 3k miles over the 34 years. Car actually runs pretty good considering it’s been parked for so long. Sitting in it seems like a throw back in time. Previously owned a 74, 78, and a 82 many yrs ago. Can’t wait to bring it back to life.

If anyone has a lead on a minty oil pan that would be great. Mine had a floor jack misadventure and I want to pick up a second to prepare and swap over so this is a distant memory. Thanks everyone.

So, hey. I’m at a point in my life where I’m thinking about getting out of the game. Life marches on and I don't have the time, space, or inclination as much anymore. After 25 years or so, I’m kicking around the idea of selling my (early) 1977 Datsun 280Z and am trying to figure out how to price it. A lot of work has been done, but I still have paint and body to do. See below… Any insight? Heck, any serious interest? I'm in the Richmond, VA area. I've put around 3k on the motor as it's mostly been a weekend driver / day trip car. Thanks, Bajcsi ---- Motor: Dyno’ed at 220rwhp/222rwtq; retarded to about 26 BTDC all in timing on 93 + NOS Bra…

Any of you guys have a 280z blower wheel laying around. I need some measurements of it. I am not going to do the replacement and cut the housing. I have a catalog with a ton of wheels listed in it.

Does anyone in the group have any contact information for RSpec Carbon or Paulo Sierra other than their website, Instagram or Facebook? I ordered some 280Z carbon fiber tail light panels from the guy back at the end of July. Product was supposed to ship last week and now he's a ghost. No response to emails, I even reached out to him via his webstore hosting company Shopify. I have my paint and body guys waiting on the parts, and it's holding up my build. Any leads are appreciated. Thank you! - Matt

Teflon suit on - Check Here goes... Ok, first post here and relatively new Z owner (1.5yrs, 260z 2+2 Auto). The car has weber 32/36 conversion with all the smog stuff removed. It runs decently well, but is rich at idle and takes a bit of cranking (6+) to start if it sits longer than 2 days. It doesn't have a lot of power but I don't really know the baseline. The engine runs smooth, and it definitely pulls ok, but I think it's probably in the 75% range of what it could do if tuned properly. It has a resonator and catalytic converter and original exhaust manifold. I recently switched to non-ethanol and it seems to like that a little bit more, slightly easier c…
