Well I came to the conclusion in October that I had a blown head gasket. Then my wife got laid off in November so the Z has been put on the back burner for now. I was hoping to get it all fixed up this winter so she would be ready for spring and summer but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I totally miss driving her!!! I swear I go thru withdraws.:stupid:

Well, I have made plentry of post with questions about this car, I know atleast one of you wanted to see it(dont remember who). I bought the car for $650.00. It didnt run, lots of the body was patched due to rust but never finished the body work. It came with another car that I gutted the interior from. The first day I got it I was trying to get it running. Turns out the fuel line had a crease in it and that was it!!! Fires up first try, shifts smoothly thru all 4 gears(4speed). I have had the car for about 2-3 weeks now and so far I have only gotten to interior. I took out all of the old sound dampener, got rid of every ounce of interior rust, fiberglass patched some…

Just an FYI. I know most people use photobucket to post pictures but unfortunately many people are blocked from their work computers. If you use flickr.com to post pictures they will not be blocked. We are still blocked from flickr.com at work but if anyone uses html codes, the flickr photos will show up when they are embedded where as with photobucket they are still blocked and will not be viewable. Flickr is part of Yahoo. Just a thought as flickr is free for basic accounts and much easier to use IMO. I liked it so much I upgraded to pro and now have around 4000 photos hosted online. I know this is a classic z car site.I just want to see what all you guys think of the new 370z car.Nissan is pushing the new car as a future 240z.It is shorter and wider than a 350z.Bigger and better motor as well.Some might not have heard about it.The shape of the windows reminds me of a car I know.I know some love it and others do not like it.What is your opinion. i love this. just bought all 7 and had them shipped up from KY. these were the ones on ebay a few weeks ago. 5 are in restorable shape(1 with perfect dash). 1 daily driver that is to rusty to restore but has life in it 1 parts car. and 2 6x12 trailers full of parts. lots of parts. i will go through everything as soon as i can, so dont ask for anything just yet. tony

I am going to be replacing the vented Hatch on Larrys car with a non vented hatch because the steel under the paint is simply too far gone to repair(as is the hood,and both will serve as absolute proof of condition for the pending litigation), and of five hatches I have looked at, all are pretty useable on the outside at but seriously eaten up on inspection with a mirror/borescope. I have found a later non-vented hatch that is suitable. Composite from John at BetaMotorsports-no rust issues ever!. John has sent me a wealth of pictures, and I am going to the chosen paint and body shop to show them the composit pieces and get their take before ordering. Anyway, Larry asked…
