Hello, all. I have a '78 Z. There are two stickers/labels that were adhered to the underside of the hood. One is the large (5"x5"?) silver Vehicles Emissions Sticker on the right as you look at the underside of the hood. There was another sticker on the left side of the hood that looks to be around 3"x2" or something like that. Most of the adhesive is still there, but the sticker is gone. Can anyone tell me what sticker that was...and is it offered as a reproduction by any company. Thanks.

This may be a little bit of a 'tuner' magazine for most on this site, but I know I have gained much knowledge from the likes of Dave Coleman et al. Especially the "Rally Beater" 510 Source Interlink kills Sport Compact Car, laying off 115 employees Posted Nov 21st 2008 4:01PM by Damon Lavrinc Filed under: Etc. We just got off the phone with Joey Leh, former editor of Sport Compact Car, who informed us that the majority of the magazine's staff was laid off yesterday and that the February issue will be the last SCC you'll find on newsstands. The death of SCC follows Source Interlink's execution of Turbo earlier this year, and reports suggest that 115 employees have been giv…

I'm getting my car ready for paint and took the rear bumper off my 72 today. Besides twisting one of the bolts off, it went pretty well. The mounts for the rear bumper that attach to the quarter panels look twisted. Is this correct? I was hoping someone had pictures of their rear bumper brackets they could post for me. Thanks!!

I am new to this forum and I am looking for some general advice on a car that I recently purchased. I have a 71 Z that I have owned for 37 years and it needs a total restoration. I recently purchased a 72 for use as a parts car and now I am having second thoughts about cutting it up. The 72 is a one owner California car that has been sitting outside for 12 years. The interior is a total loss, the original owner left the windows down for all 12 years! The rest of the car actually looks pretty good to me. The body a has rust in three places. The first place is in front of the right rear wheel, and it does not look too bad. A patch plate should fix it and there does not appe…

I decided when I bought 797 that I would be restoring her back to original condition, today the entire car including all jambs and engine bay was soda blasted........and the fears of the "Rust Monster" were not to be. The entire car is very solid save the small area that was cut out, it was only just begining to rust so it was removed, had we not blasted it I'm sure it would have made it's way to the interior of the car. Engine, glass, hatch, fenders, hood, etc all come off later this week and hopefully will be ready for primer in a week or so. Here's a picture, of course I forgot my camera so I had to use my cell phone. The shop however is documenting the entire pr…

I need a little help trying to identify the correct car for a braided upper radiator hose I acquired. I bought it for my 240z, but when I read the part number (barely visible) on the hose tag, it looked like #21501-U0100, not for a Z, but for what? With a little trimming, it would probably fit (pretty close to same "S" shape),but not an exact match. My Nissan parts guy doesn't have the capability of matching a car to a part number on his system, so thought someone might be familiar with this upper hose part number. I am sure someone would be interested in finding the correct braided radiator hose for there car. Thanks Dan
