I came across this ad the other day for a nice 71 in Spokane for $5500. http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/892405599.html. I haven't seen anything other than the ad and don't know the seller, but it seems like a good deal if it is as described and pictured. Here is the text and pictures for when the ad expires (minus the contact info) Very nice two owner 240-Z for sale. 83,000 documented original miles. The car has undergone a continual refreshment process over the last three years (hoses, belts, fuel and water pump, plug wires and plugs and much more), all documented with receipts. Strongest point - no rust issues! Please call or email for more details. -Mike

Well after a 15 mile jaunt this evening, my car is very healthy indeed. I managed to fill her up with gas, take her to sonic and just stretch her legs a little. Its amazing how well she drives. My clunk for all intensive purposes is gone and in order to hear anything bad I have to something really violent in first gear to hear anything. Every other gear is quiet and smooth as a mouse. My car feels more solid now than it ever had. I am very glad that I replaced all the Ujoints and other bushings while I was in there. The car sounds and feels wonderful. And finally she is at rest back in the garage. Waiting for the next round of elective surgery Whats next. …

I (unfortunately) need to keep my 73 240z outside for a while until garage is de-cluttered and on occasion thereafter and was wondering what people here recommend for a good car cover. Thanks.

For the experts that know a heck of alot more than me can you help me with a correct interior question. I am going to restore 797 back to it's original state and needed to know about the carpet. Would it have been Black in the front and hatch area for all cars. 797 is White with Blue interior and currently has Black front carpet and Blue hatch carpet. What would be the correct color for the interior carpet? Also, since the car has been media blasted and all imperfections corrected I will need new rubber for everything. I noticed that MSA sells a "kit" does this kit include all the rubber I'll need, or does anyone have a different vendor that sells the rubber in a kit.…

I own a 76 280z auto. I have found a 72 240z with the original motor with dual carbs and a 5 speed tranny. The car has been taken apart to get ready to paint. Windshield takin out, doors off, windows out, hatch off, hood off, and the interior all takin out except for the dash which is the original with no cracks. The floor pans are solid. There is some small rust spots but not alot. Car also comes with new windshield and two spare fenders. The guy is asking 1800 dollars for the car. I have offered my 69 ford truck as a trade and I believe he is going to take it. So... should I sale my 280 and focus all my energy towards the 240 or just keep the 280 and not bother with the…

Hello Guys I need help with the parts numbers for 2 oil pumps and 1 fuel pump. I found a Nismo "High Velocity Oil Pump" that flows 15% more oil and also a "High Preasure Fuel Pump at 90 psi" Like to know the part numbers for those 2 pumps so I can order the correct one for my 1977 280Z. I have searched a few areas for the front bumper guards and rubber strips for both the front and back......(and had brief sticker shock). Who or where would you guys recommend getting these pieces from? Once I get 797 put back together I really hate to put these bent guards and cracked rubber back on. Thanks for any direction, or if anyone has a used set in nice condition give me a shout. Randy

Hey all, I saw this ad in Craigslist yesterday, and since I drive past this dealer twice a day, I figured I'd take a peek. http://eugene.craigslist.org/ctd/905488827.html More pictures can be seen at: http://executiveauto.com/fullListing.php?stock=C6259# The car is on consignment, and they'd probably take $6300 for it. After looking it over, here's what I saw that isn't shown in the pictures. First, it's black now, but was born silver. Paint job is strictly driver quality, probably a 10 footer. Still very stock, has the original radio and the normal Series 1 parts. Was built 10/70, VIN in the 12s. A couple of cracks in the dash, freshly rebuilt seats (fairly nice, new foa…
