In looking through the pictures of a recent purchase by another member, I came accross a picture that is obviously stating that these holes are not supposed to be there, but I have the same or similar holes in my core support (I will need to look again to see how similar they are). What would have been mounted here, or any reason for these holes?

The 7th annual "People's Choice Z Car Show" will be held on Sunday October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Victory Nissan; 11401 West Broad St.; Richmond, Virginia. This is a well attended show with a number of Z's from the D.C. area as well. I'd love to see some of the East Coast members in person. Updates can be found at www.richmondzcar.com. Why not make plans for a nice road trip in October. Guy

I recieved several e-mails suggesting that Datsun Parts had problems and that I had better watch out. Every business has some problems at various times. I certainly did when I was in business. I have been treated very well by Al at Datsun Parts. He has responded very quickly when I have had a question. I had some additional work done on the car I bought from him and he was very helpful telling me which ones would work and which ones would not. I would gladly use Al again. When I got your e-mails sugesting I may have made a mistake, it set me back a little. But as I thought through the good service that Al had given me, I did not worry any more. Like I say anyon…

I live in So-Cal. It never snows and rarely rains, perfect weather for a 240z. I do snowboard in the winter though... a lot.... I was recently at the japanese classic car show, and it looks like a snowboard would fit in the back of a 240z diagonally, but I'm wondering if the car would make it up a mountain if there's any snow on the road? (with tire chains most likely) Being rwd and lightweight and all... I should note that I am from N.C. originally and have driven in the snow quite a bit, although that was at least 10 years ago. I've always wanted a classic Z and now that I commute to work by other means (bicycle) and only drive my car on weekends, it seems like it'…

I have a 240z, manufacture date 11/70. There is an blue air cleaner with no bottom snorkel for sale on Ebay. Seller says it is for early 240 z's. I haven't seen one like this before. Is this correct for my car?

It was more like 75 but who's counting :paranoid: I know I know, open highway besides the Highway Patrol of course, learned my lesson to say the least. ~Z~ Drive safe! Oh yeah and the ticket was $264 and $50 for the test.

I recently ordered a new transmission mount from BD. It arrived on time but I did not get around to installing it until this weekend. Well the bolts did not line up... Not expecting much, I called the customer service line at BD. I talked with a gentlemen, Keith I think, and he listened to my problem intently. He even recorded the measurements I gave him. He said he would call me back in about 48 hours. Well it was more like 20 hours and he had another spare mount in his hand and he took measurements on it. Seems I may have got a lemon, and without asking they said they would ship out a new one to me. I have never received customer service like that in all my lif…

Well, On Friday I found 797 and today I just bought it. The car runs perfect and despite the pictures looks pretty good. It does need paint and some other minor work but shouldn't be too bad. It has a new MSA 3-2 header, newer clutch, 14" Yokohama tires, and very clean interior. Will change the seat covers back to original as these have the velour insert. Has newer Z steering wheel that will be changed as well as the radio. The dash is original with two small spots, otherwise is great shape. Have the original block as well. Only body damage is the rear valence near the exhaust, it needs to be repaired. Production date is 1/70.....I really wanted to see a 1969 …
