So i was replacing the struts and bushings on my late 260Z and i had put the control arms back in and called it a night, well today i walk out into the garage and my left control arm is touching the ground, a quick inspection shows my mounting insulator has separated. My question is can i glue or epoxy the insulator back together. (im a student and dont have a job, and the only replacement i can find is $186) I dont think that it would be a problem since the weight of the car keeps the two pieces together anyways. Your ideas are appreciated

Hi, first time poster. Been lurking on various z sites for a while. I have also been looking for a Z I could afford in my area for a few years now. Found this 74 260z and I wouldn't mind your opinion about how much I should offer and if it would be worth it. The asking price is 500 obo. As you can see in the pictures it is in pretty rough shape. Decent amount of rust and some dints and dings. The current owner says the clutch is frozen (4spd) a freeze plug is gone from the block and cab forward needs to be rewired. That stuff I don't mind, I actually enjoy wrenching. I'm not looking to have a Z to restore to pristine condition, I'm more looking…

I fly out Wednesday morning to see and drive what will hopefully be my entry into the world of the 240Z. I have read enough books, searched enough websites, talked to enough sellers, saved enough money, and now its time. I fly out with check in hand to see this beauty wish me luck.

I took a few more picture of #32 today as I was putting the new carpet in it. The whole car is amazingly rust free. Here are a couple of pictures of the floor, the rear deck, and the original spare tire. The brown colored areas on the drivers floor is dried glue for the vinyl and velcro strips. -Mike

Was just wondering if anyone from here has heard of the event and plans to attend. Its the weekend of June 28th and 29th at Miller Motorsports Park. Suppose to have road racing, autocross, drifting and go-karting all open to the public along with organized racing events. I'm planning to hang with the UtahNissan guys who will have an area just for Nissan cars. BBQ and all. From what I understand if you have a club, they get in for free to display cars. Not sure if that option is still open. But you can sign up with UtahNissans to show your car with them and I think its free.

Hello everyone, I hope that people can help me. I have some spare parts that I am thinking of selling to get money to further work on my car and am not sure how much they are worth. I have 4 oringinal steel wheels (I am sure the tires aren't original), 2 original spares (I don't know if the tires are original), a hood in nice shape, a rear hatch, a replacement quarter panel steel thats new (drivers side), a lower rear valence replacement, and potentially replacement floor pans with the supports. One of the big problems is always the cost and work of shipping the parts. I really appreciate peoples input. Thanks again, Carl

Hello Z car owners, I'm about to take the plunge into your territory, so I'm asking for some feedback. Here's the prospect: 1973 73K Miles original owner with ownership/purchase documentation white w/black 4 speed wire wheels plus original hubcaps and rims original paint with minor/typical blems original interior, ripped driver's seat other wise minor wear, weatherstrip fair mechanicals are original down to hoses and belts Zeibarted with plugs one 1/2" rust hole in front of rear wheel floors are whole but seem spongy runs/drives very good Nice original car. What would you pay? Thanks!

I need to make a post like this. Had the car around for a week or so, my daily driver. It's an original, maintained 280Z and I'm coming out of a Lotus turbo Esprit... Honestly, I feel that the Z is about 10 times the car and I'm not making excuses. Whatever anyone says about cars from this era, it has torque like a hot rod (I can just take off at ANY time in any gear from any RPM it seems) and it's just so smooth and quiet while it's doing it... 6 cyl FI is a great combo... I can really see it being revolutionary for its time, being something so driveable and usable and still delivering that sort of performance, in an era where most sports cars needed to be wound up and…
