Does anyone know if there is a source for the chrome end pieces for the passenger side door pull strap. My strap is fine, however it's missing the end covers. Found several on Ebay but they include the strap which I don't need and cost $30+. Thanks for any help. Randy

Hey guys, I am new to this group, so let me introduce myself, my name is Nick and I been working a ford for long arse time. Now, I am new to this 1977 Datsun 280z that I bought. The car was from Oregon in 2004, which I am in California. This became a big issue for me, I wanted the car to get on the road, but it has no emission, the previous owner tried to get it smog checked, which it failed. So I can't really get this car on the road until it smog checked. Should I sell it and get another Z, or you guys have some suggestions? Thanks, Nick:smoke:

I had an old MSA stripe kit that I just put on......(I did this very quickly just to see if i wanted to add the NOS stripes later this week, which is why they are not perfectly installed). I had the stripes on my Orange Z and I think they look even better on the Green. Here's a few "Temp" pictures, when I get the NOS stripes on I'll post some more. Before.......and .........After.

Long time no talk guys. Just wanted to say the Z is coming along well. I have new floors, rear fenders headlight bucket, the front frame rails and floor supports will be here soon. I totally gutted the car and she is getting sand blasted on tues and then the seams sealed and total interior, under carrage and behind panels are going to be POR-15ed! Can't wait! Before lon that 450hp sbc will be sitting in it and I will rule the world!! ha ha ha well at least my city.!! Oh one more thing guys i took out the a/c, heater, fans, speakers, radio, all that junk and the car is now down to below 2000 pounds. I was just messing around the other day and picked the whole backend…

This morning I took Bonzi to the local Gas-N-Go (crazy over the price) to get a sip and was approched by several Men in Black. There were two large black Surburbans all blacked out and a 4 door Ford truck all blacked out with a very large black box on the back with antennas and a dish on top, all had "U S Gov." tags I knew right off who they were and what they were doing there, but went about my business not wanting to start 'anything'. As some of you know, I posted in the help section, "WTF did I do"?" http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30498 Dave, (Zs-ondabrain) who so kindly built my my electrical upgrade pointed out that I only checked the 30amp connection and forgot the 15. 15? Where TF was the 15? He suggested that I trace the wiring from the firewall and look for the other fuse. There was no other fuse.
