http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562590375hsIsRE Page 3-4 for pics from my house. Went to pick this car up yesterday in Garfield, NJ (about and hour and a half from me). Me and my dad loaded the car onto our car trailer with ease and made it home safe. Today I scrubbed and vaccuumed the inside of the car and took it around the block. It has a few rust issues, but nothing real crazy. The frame rails, battery area, floor, and rear area are all solid. The rockers and some of the hatch sill need some replacing though. The paint is trashed and it looks like it was painted with a paint brush. I wanna get some good suspension on the car, but i haven't decided what kind yet…

Hi folks, I'm new to the site and looking at buying a 240Z. I might go see the one listed here this week. http://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/car/586810217.html By looking at the pictures, does it look like to you guys the driver side mirror is missing? I'm in New England and trying to find a daily driver and would like to get one that has been restored or refreshed already. I don't mind paying a fair price but I really don't want to overpay. I don't have to have a completely stock car but would prefer the body and interior to be stock. The guy with this ad says it has non stock seats. How hard are stock seats to find and replace? Any comments on the car in the ad or …

While my friend was pulling my motor out of my 240, a guy stopped by and told him where a 240 was for sale that didn't have any rust and ran when parked years ago. He went to look at it and turns out it's a 260Z 2+2 auto. He still may be interested in it, it appears to be original, needs work and has very little rust. I know the 240's from looking for one and from seeing the discussions on this web page, but is this 260 worth anything more than just an old 70's car?

This is a question for those who have used a rotisserie with their Z's. I have a '72 240Z that I'm gradually stripping down. I plan to take everything off the body (if it isn't welded, it's coming off!) and then mount it to a homemade rotisserie. I have a bar bolted to the bumper mounts in the back and will mount the front bar to the bumper mounts in the front. At least I think they are the bumper mounts. The car didn't have the bumper mounted when I bought it. Can anyone tell me where the vertical center of gravity of the car is? How far above the rear bumper bolts should the center of rotation be? Same question for the front. Thanks.

My 73 240 had an A/C setup when I bought it. It sat for 10+ years and even though it was still sealed I'm sure it was far from a sound system. The first thing I did when I got the car home was pull the compressor out to make room for working on more essential items. Just curious if anyone knows whether A/C parts for a 240 have any value? The are plenty of parts I need and I'd hate to just toss it out if I could get any value out of it. Thanks

what is the website address for the zcar garage? i think that's what it's called. it has a white 240 and displays the compression ratios for different head/block combos and differential ratios and such.

I had a bad eBay experience this last week. Bought some used door panels that did not meet my expectations. The eBay item description read: "Set of Inner Door Panels for 240z in Great Condition". "This is a set of door panels from 1972 240z. They are balck and in very good shape. Not sure what other models they might fit". The pics in the listing did not show any close-up details, but I figured the "great condition" statement was accurate. When I recieved tham I found damage on the lower corner of the passenger side panel. (see pics). The seller, "Alana4675", refused to take them back. I feel she misrepresented this item and will be contacting eBay to mediate th…
