Hey guys, I found a 2+2 around the corner from my house and went to check it out today. The Car is automatic so what actions would I have to take in switching that out? (2+2 uses different stuff then regular 260?). Also the front driver fender isnt attached at one of its mounting points so it wiggles alot when you pull on it. Paint is okish, some spots are chipped off and the rear quarter panel has bondo on it I believe. Interior seems mostly there and is in ok shape, could probably use a nice cleaning. The guy said he would take 300 for it which isn't a whole lot of money.. He said the car runs and drives but the carbs are an issue ( I think it has stock carbs). I would…

okay so im fixing up my 260, and i just finished replacing all of my freeze plugs, when i fill it up with coolant. Im about almost done filling it up and i hear a small dribble from underneath the car. Apparently i have a leak. Its not coming from my freeze plugs, and it doesnt look like its coming from the firewall or heater, the only place i can see where its wet is on the bottom of the transmission where its dripping off of. Does this sound like a cracked head or is there a freeze plug on the back of the block in the transmission? thanks for any views

The Nissan Z Car is on History International Channel right now as part of their Voyages Automobile series. I've got it on tape, but I always seem to stop and watch it when it's on the History or History Intn'l channel. It's on again at 1 a.m. Pacific Time. They speak with Mr. K and have some good old footage. I'd like to get it on DVD. I've also seen the shows on Saab, BMW, Volvo, Jag, and VW.

Has anyone ever tried to paint or spray the black center console. If so did you use SEM or is it best to just leave it alone. I did re-paint all my interior plastic, but not the console. Did a search but no results popped up. Thanks for any input. Randy

Hey all, Pretty much all my interior along with the dash has been taken out of my car. My entire AC system, injector blower, cruise control and a few other chunks of weight have been taken out of the engine bay. Are there any big disadvantages in taking out so much weight? (apart from hardly any traction in the rain) -- Is there anything I should do to help with functionality without throwing sandbags in the back of the car? Just curious, Thanks for any info.
