Didn't the Black Pearl 280Zs have dual side-view mirrors? I recently cracked my stock side-view mirror. Argh! Naturally, the car does not have a passenger-side mirror. I would like to get two new stock side-view mirrors for my car -- and I assume the Black Pearl mirrors are the only way to go. Is this a pipe dream?

So what mpg to you get? Model, Year, any mods done? Going to get an idea of what I might get myself, as I am going to be taking my car on a 2,500 mile journey home next month I hope. After I do the brakes, suspension, tires, and a little more engine tweaking I hope to be off.

I am looking for a radiator surge tank for my 240Z. I thought about just buying some tubing and using a glass bottle. Does MSA or Black Dragon a surge tank with tubing? Any thoughts?

This I'm sure has been covered here before but I did make the effort to search for it. I got a 1978 280z three days ago that was impounded for not being current with registration back in 2000. Since then it was sitting in a toe yard. The owner said it ran when the put it there. Now here the issue. It won't start, i know i know it was sitting for eight years but come on, its a Z. New gas, plugs are sparking, a fuel line right above the injector was leeking (which is now fixed) so its getting gas, and it cranks like a champ. Ive talked to one guy about it and he says maybe its the fuel pump and its just not getting enough fuel pressure. Im not new to Z's but i am new to 28…

I have an email notification which lets me know when a 240Z comes up for sale. This morning one showed up with the 303 area code worded thusly: 1972 240Z, 1 owner, low miles, original wheels and hubcaps. $3500 It sounded promising, so I called, but was dismayed to get an answering machine. Sometime later this afternoon, the seller returned my call and informed me that the car was sold. I just joined the forum and have found some very useful information. I figure I can contribute something, if only these scary pics of what I found. I have this 73 Z car in my garage which my father gave to me just a short time ago. After some work he had done to the motor he decided that he would just give it to me. My father has what I call "old man car syndrome" He has more cars than he knows what to do with. The car runs and manages to idle ok when I have it pulling fuel from a gas can but as soon as I reattached the lines the fuel dries up. Carl, I hope you don't mind that I have reposted your scan of the BSR Catalog. I was quite happy to finally know where the cladding for the '83 Bob Newman car came from, as I quite like that kit. So, I looked up Kaminari on google and found the website. Alas, they are no longer distributing the kit for my zx, but the do have kits for the S30's.
