Does anyone know if the 71 model had the round Z vent emblems or the 240Z vent emblem, or is either one correct. Thanks,

Wondering what I did while the forums were down? No? ... Oh, okay... Well... regardless of whether or not you wondered what I've been up to, I have been working on the Z! Two restless days and nights of cussing, bleeding, bruising, and blistering (but mostly cussing). The pictures truly tell the story here, and I will narrate each one with glee! (feel free to look at them first, then scroll back up to read what I had to say) #1-3: The sea of parts I began with... I've been accumulating this stuff all summer, and one final trip to the auto parts store gave me everything I needed... in case you can't see it all, here's what I have in that picture... 1 - Chrome Accel Su…

I don't recall ever seeing a Z with these. Was this ever a standard item on some year/model of Z as the description in the auction implies? ("Correct replacement....") I've had my Z since it was new in 1973 and do not recall every having those. Am I losing my memory (as my wife claims...:-), or what? Thanks --jayhawk

I bought a new W/S washer unit from Motorsports 2 years ago. Now they say they no longer have them. Anyone know where to get these units new? I am doing another restoration and need one. Who has them?

Could someone post several close up pictures of the 240z Radio. I just removed my aftermarket unit, but the original just doesn't seem to fit right. Once the faceplate is on should you be able to see the metal top part of the Radio if you look toward the back? Just need a refrence point....I'm stuck. Thanks, Randy PS....it's for a 1973 model

So I was driving down the road enjoying my awesome car. I stopped at a sign and continued on. Once I took my car out of first, I could not get her to go into second. She just made that aweful ratcheting sound. It was then I noticed that I had no pressure in my clutch pedal. So here we are rolling down the road in first. I pulled over to see what was going on and noticed I had no fluid in my clutch master cylinder. I followed the line to the slave cylinder, which was soaking wet and dripping. The boot was entirely gone. And I was about 15 miles from home. So I put the car in first and started it. Once I got going, I could shift without using the pedal. The only hard part w…

Looking for front driver side hood apron attached to same frame rail(the inside fender with shock tower) for my 1971 restoration. It needs to be in good condition as this is going to be 100% restoration. Also the Tabco dog legs I purchased from Motorsports come up short on the rear rocker panel seams. Does anyone have OEM dog legs or rear arches for a 71? Thanks Guy

http://www.dmdaustralia.com.au/block.html Yes, I know this is not a Z block but it really caught my eye. 295hp and 300ftlbs torque = fun.

I was curious if many of you (or even at all) were members of the Z car club of Washington? I did a search on the site to see what I could find out but didn't turn up much. I'm really thinking about joining the club as it would be fun to attend some of cruises and stuff and was wondering if any of you on here were members by any chance.
