I just swapped in my other wiper motor because the one in the '71 was dead. Only thing, my wipers are going the wrong direction! Did I get the arms backwards? Does a '72 wiper motor operate differently? HELP! :pirate:

I just finished watching the new series from from Discovery Channel called Tuna Wranglers set in Australia. The ship featured in episode #1 is the Kingfisher. They had a short intro to the crew members and one of the crew drives a red S30.

I've got to make a decision with what to do with my car. It's a 70 #6802. Part of me (as well as all the z car club members I've talked to) says "It's your car, do what you want with it" another one says "It's an early original car, restore it and leave it that way". I guess my plans are more of a resto-mod. I'd like triple webbers, cam, coil overs, brakes, etc. A loud exhaust to wizz of neighbors is a must. Interior I will leave stock, if anything a steering wheel, seats, and 5pt. Exterior I want to just fix what little rust there is and give it an average paint job. I just came back from the Historic races at PIR. What are the rules of this sanctioning body? It seems to me that they need some 280Z CP cars to eat up most of the Cameros and Corvettes that they race. Is that the deal... AP and BP and AS is all they recognize? They also have Lotus/Cortina sedans. Why not a nice 1600cc 510? Is this a plot against Nissan/Datsun?

I have a 77 280z sitting on my driveway and nothing is being done with it. I originally bought it to get it running and make it into a drift car but my living situation changed and i wasn't able to have money to put into it. I'm afraid the time has come to get rid of it and I would rather have a z enthusiast take it and do something good with it than just dump it. It's NOT running so it would need to be towed or hauled etc. The motor is pretty much complete and i got running for only a few minutes with black smoke coming out the tailpipe. Number 1 and 2 pistons have extremely low compression so it most likely needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The interior is in pretty goo…
