I recently had to have my car emissions test and it FAILED !! My question is just prior to my test I poured one pint of seafoam fluid in my gas tank just before I filled it up, would that cause a poor reading on an emissions test.

Hi I saw this Ebay auction a few weeks ago, It seems that exist an error, that is a 240z, not 240c. Nissan Dealers tell that it was always a Nissan car! About the price... well it´s a 240z...and it`s start to growing up... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160139888688&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3D160139888688%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1 By the way, how much can cost one of the 37 or 38 240z that Nissan rebuilt? Thank You Filipe A

Well everyone, tomorrow is the day. As some of you know, My Z has been stored in a garage since Feb of '95. I have not driven the car since '99. Tomorrow I will start the process of bringing the Z back to a 'streetable' car. This will be a tedious task, but well worth it. I am familiar with what needs to be done...it's going to take some serious effort. My first goal is to get the Z running again. It only needs new injector hoses, a good fuel system flush (I hope the tank is okay:paranoid:), and fresh fluids. There was nothing wrong with the car when I stored it, so all of the problems will be related to improper vehicle storage:stupid:. I will inspect the front caliper…

Haven't been on here in a while however I updated my photos with some new pics of the 76 project i'm working on. If anyone is in the Northern NJ/eastern PA area and needs parts please contact me with your needs. In the near future I am picking up a local 73 parts car that is pretty bad but intact so I will be sorting that out as well.

Hello folks. The title Will Cars of Today Become Classics is the title of an article in todays edition of the Wall Street Journal. The Home and Family Section Page D5. The article basically discusses which cars today may be considered classics 25 years or more from now. There is mention from Rob Myers founder of RM Auctions that he feels that the Datsun 240z could find favor in the future as attainable vehicles. I am somewhat unclear as to this statement because this has already been happening for a lot of years. You may be able to google WSJ and read the article. It's somewhat interesting. Just thought I would let you know. McKrack

I was attending a meeting this morning when I noticed I had a voice message during the break. It was from a guy from Oregon I had won an auction from on eBay. I called him back because he said he would send me some other parts as well for no extra charge - engine harness and heater panel. At the very minute I was telling him I thought I was the only person in Okanogan County who owned a 240Z (not in a wrecking yard that is) an orange 1972 pulled up and parked about 30 yards away. The gentleman that owned the car said he bought it for $1700 12 years ago. It was in really nice shape and I've included a few pictures. The guy is the District Ranger for the Methow Valley Range…

Is there a way one can add the unleaded gas nozzle restrictor to the filler neck on a 78 280Z? They way it is now (stock) you could fit any nozzle in there- unleaded, leaded, diesel... Or you could fit a siphon tube in there too. thxZ
