Hey, I know this is a z site, but I am interested in purchasing a '69 1600 roadster. The question that I have for you Datsun enthusiasts is can a 6'5" person fit in the car like I can in a 240, 260, or 280z. I can not fit comfortably in the new 350z's. What should be a normal price for one that has no major rust issues except for some surface rust and needs complete restore on interior. Motor seems strong and has similar compression on all 4 cylindres. Chuck

Well, here she is!! The paint job turned out great, my folks and I are really pleased and impressed. It's sure nice to see her with paint, finally! The color that I chose was a Nissan color "silver metallic" with metal flake used with PPG paint. I thought it would be kind of cool to have a Nissan color. Whenever I park in parking lots now, I have to park far away because I'm worried about scratches and car doors banging into it. I've got it entered in a car show which is comming up next Sunday the 22nd, so if you all are interested, I will post some pictures of it in the show and other cars which wouldn't be Z's as I think mine will be the only Z in the show. the other day i received a certified letter in the mail, I picked up the letter from the post office. It was a form for power of attorney for the transfer of title on my 280z(wtf!). Now i purchased my z about 5 months ago and the title has been in my name since i bought it, so i called the original owner of my z. I left him a message to call me back, and then proceeded to look at my title, the power of attorney form, and my 280z. I took a look at the vin#s on all three, and there was the problem. seems like whoever inspected my z got one digit in my vin number wrong. a 7 looked like a one. so i took my z over to the mvd got the old girl reinspected, and the corre…

About a year ago, we pulled off the a/c compressor off our old 260z to eventually put on my car since it got taken off at one point. I've already got the condensor and pretty much everything else of the system on the car other than the compressor. I know that they take away hp and mpg and everything, but it just gets smokin' hot during the summer and hot days and can get almost un-barable at times on hot days. I'm to be going to colleage in southern California next year, so it would almost be a must to have down there. I figure during the winter I'd just pull off the belt when it's not in use and get my hp and mpg back. Come summer, put it back on. Any how, I'm thinking…
