I have an unco-operative selector and presently getting only Vent air unheated - doesn't matter the setting (other than def - it closes the lower heater doors but still no def). Worked fine till today - I had a quick look around the engine comp for busted or split vacum hoses found one minor, to no avail. Had a look through the search items nothing too specific. Anyone got info?

I am not sure what exactly they are called, but I see them on new BMW's. I am sure that they are on other cars too. But what I am wondering if there are any angel headlights for a Z car? The light that is a halo and look really cool.

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone of you out there could tell me where I could find a set of head light covers that have the plastics tabs. I know that Motor Sports sells the version that has the metal clips in three areas but I am really on the hunt for the plastic tab version. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

I recently drove a friend's 280Z with factory injection, all stock. It sure is nice compared to my 240, but it fell on its face about 4500 rpm. My 240 feels crisp and lean, the 280 feels pretty fat. I've seen the 280 injection adapted to almost everything over the years, but can it be run well on a 240? I don't want it to die at 4500 rpm. It will pull beyond that, but the power is gone. My 240 with carbs pulls good right to 5600 and then it's done making power. I really like the driveablility of the injection and I have to assume the mileage is better too. Any thoughts? Devin

I just came across a 76 that was stripped and painted several years ago, engine overhauled, BUT the entire interior along with the bumpers and trim are all thrown into the cab. None of the reassembly outside the engine bay is done. :eek: I'm thinking parts car, but the body looks pretty good although modified slightly. Any thought on value for an offer?

My 1973 Z has developed a high pitched bird like chirping that speeds up and slows down with the vehicle's speed. It sounds like it is coming from the front, passenger side area. The sound is not influenced by engine RPM(when engine is gunned in neutral while driving at speed or sitting stationary). Applying the brakes(either the brake pedal or the emergency brake) does not change the sound. Driving in a tight circle in either direction has no effect on the sound. The pads and shoes have plenty of meat left. Closing or opening the air vents has no effect on the sound. The heater fan has no effect on the sound. Opening or closing the windows while moving has no eff…
