I figured out that I can take the 280Z Factory Service Manual (FSM) with me when I travel with the Z. I have a Palm Tungsten E with a 2 Gb SD card for memory expansion, and even with ALL the data, music & apps moved to it, I can still fit the entire FSM on there too. Using the free PDF reader, I'll be ready to fix things if there's a problem. That, and I use the Palm for GPS navigation too. :classic: Maps go on another 2Gb card. You can do that with any laptop, and have it hanging from your hip... I just wish I could take time-lapse pictures with the Palm. thx

Has anyone ever been to blackdragonauto.com? I'm sure you have. How do they rate. Does anyone recommend using blackdragonauto as a supplied of new Datsun part? I've spent the better part of my evening flipping through their catalog and am just amazed at the vast selection of some what hard to find parts. I'm new to the Z cars but I thought it was pretty cool.

Hi guys, I have a slight dilema here. A few hours ago a friend and I bought a 1970 240Z parts car. The VIN is in the 12,000's and it has an automatic with a SU carbed L28. The dilema is about cutting it up. Check out these photos. http://www.fairladyzg.com/images/240z/index.htm This has no major rust. There is not even minor rust we have found. Floor pans are intact along with the battery tray. The primer is showing surface rust. Would anyone be interested in the body? It would be a shame to cut it up. By the way, the Blue 1975 280Z, funny thing there. I jacked it up and the rubber insulators were rotted away. Not something I have seen happen before. Ultimately I need to…

I have reproduced several decals for my Series 1 car, and am considering another. It is the red on bright silver decal found on the master vac. I can do this if there is enough interest from other members which would allow me to cover my costs. The other decals that I have done are: 1. Emissions decal done in a chrome gold finish to duplicate the finish found on many original 240Z emissions decals I have seen. 2. The hazzard switch decal found on series 1 cars. 3.
