Hello all!:cheeky: I really need a gas tank for my 1983 280zx. The old one is off the car and dumped, rinsed and dried... but I'm afraid to put it back on as is. Rust, pinholes, integrity, etc. Anyone know of a place here in Orlando that cleans and coats tanks, or anyplace that I can buy an aftermarket one for this model? Thanks in advance!:nervous:

Heh, I saw this on Ebay the other day and thought they only came in White color. I know some were repainted Red by owners but this one came from the Factory . It also looks like a Orange wheel center cap I have that I think was for a 280z or 280zx, so I'm thinking they were both made around the same time maybe cause the paint is the same. Does anyone know about these Green ones and if theres any other colors out there. Heres the Link to the Auction Description and 6 pics I included below. Green Fairlady Z Badge Emblem And More pics of the center cap if you know what it goes to. Thyanx Yahh ~Z~

Does anyone know, does anybody make a chrome fan to replace the original plastic engine fan in the 72-73 240's? Thanks, just thought it would be a cool dress up for under the hood.

I just came across this site while doing an internet search. http://bringatrailer.com/category/japanese/ Has anyone ever seen it before? Seems to compile cars that are currently for sale at various other places. Lonetree Steve's car is the first one listed. He has nice things to say about Steve's car. Note this comment, though, "The Nissan factory restored a select number of early coupes in 2003 and they still draw high prices". Further down it also has a listing for two Toyota 2000GTs in Maine being offered at $250,000 each. -Mike

Well, Since I'm still having problems with overheating I took a big leap today and decided to order a new 3 row radiator, oem thermostat, hoses, and a 14" electric fan with sensor which brings up a whole new set of issues.... Should I keep the A/C or pull it out of the car. I can hear the compressor kick in, but of course it needs a charge. Since I bought the car last fall I have never charged the a/c so I'm not 100% sure that it works. Since I'm going to be replacing all the above mentioned items should I just go ahead and remove the a/c system or leave it alone. If I get the system charged, do they even cool the cabin enough anyway? My car is just a weekend drive…

Well after a long trip over seas ... a delay that made it miss it's scheduled boat ... problems with documents at customs ... and figuring out how to get it out of the container while on a truck it finally arrived. To get it out of the container truck I actually hired a truck and driver from another company just half a mile down the road to come and we drove it onto their truck then drove it to their facility where we unloaded it on the lift and then the lift to the ground. Sounded like a lot of work, but it went super easy. The car started on the first turn of the key and ran great. It was nice to drive it again. It's been a long day, so I will leave the post at that. …

Saw this beauty on the way back from Tail of the Dragon, and waited posting it until I could contact the seller for pricing... Build date 12/70, original crack free dash, fairly rust free (some surface rust on the rails, but not much), some NOS seals-still in original packaging, nice enough American Racing slotted mags, fresh paint (though there is some rust bubbling around the drip rails-wonder what else the paint is hiding)-generally a nice looking vehicle-but $10,000 is just too much. The seller seems to have his head in the clouds (or sand)-he also has a sad looking blue gold edition (cracked dash and t-top panels) that is also being sold for $10,000. The 240 is o…

Hello fellow enthusiasts. I was looking at some of the Z cars on Ebay this AM and I came across a 1972 vehicle being sold by Schmitt which is a fairly well known Classic Car Distributor. The auction strikes me as somewhat odd. The car is very nice and I suppose the reason I find it odd is that we rarely see cars like this being sold by places like Schmitt. Now I think it's good for all of us because if a Dealership like this has a car like this then what we know of the 240z and it's history helps the value of our cars. Schmitt does not take in cars that aren't excellent examples of specific makes and models. They want $20,000 for the car on a buy it now. Please comment on…
