What would be better for my L24? I Have a racing performance Cam with MSA 3 into 2 headers and electronic ignition. What would be better for my engine SU carbs or a set of triple carbs? Or even a 4 barrel conversion or the dual webers? I want to make my engine fast. Its a 1971 Datsun 240z. My goal is to smoke the stock GT's around.

240z? . ,meaning, when u start it it shakes a lot. for instance I put a water bottle on the roof of the car, then it falls off.? i dont know if im making any sense but. yeah my point is, is the car suppose to be shakey? or is it normal.?

Hi, Just wanting to know if anyone has a sound file of the full Fujitsubo dual/twin system on a Zed or any other L6 power car aka C10/C110 (Jim aka g72s20 recorded yours yet?). I have made the big decision and ordered the Stainless headers 6-2 and the complete twin system from Fujitsubo so I would like to know what it might sound like (will take 2 months as they have to make it, non stock items) Cheers Mike

Ohayo Does anybody know about R192 LSD's? Found one in Japan out a Z432 and thought it might go well if I can put it in my R180 4.375 rear diff. Don't know if it will match or not and don't know what tha break away settings for the R192 is. here goes some pics Also if someone could sum up or point me to what Clutch type, Open LSD and Breekaway settings means would be Greatfull :tapemouth Just come across it and thought it'd be cool. ~Z~

Welp, This page is strictly for my build up from now till it officially finishes! haha yeah well heres my car as of now. the engine some equipment i bought for the z. so far : new battery Por 15 starter kit oil filter car cover 2 spare keys need to get my paycheck.. I will be sanding and stripping out her. for my new mission RUST DON DON DON yeahh, ill try to update this as soon as i can, this is my first time doing this so be gentle. i wanna try to make some videos and stuff. later on. thats it for now. shes resting in the car cover. i love it so much. :laugh:

Well I'm getting all my parts to give my beautiful Z her spring Tune up and when I went to get all my stuff from Courtesy Nissan, They told me they would have to sell me the BP6ES which is used on the 240Z's and 260Z. since they are no longer stocking the B6ES. Anyone on here running the BP6ES in there 280Z? I looked it up and the "P" stands for "Projected Insulator Type" and from what I've found searching last night is that it's a little hotter plug??? I'm thinking about going through NGK direct and getting the right ones. Courtesy claims it will work fine in the 280Z??? I don't know though. after 2-3 years of burning money, the car is road legal (barely..) As you can see, still needs a hell of a lot of work before it's ready for the track but I think it scrubbed up ok with the 'poo brown' watanabes. It's running too low at the moment, with maxed out camber to fit the wheels in. Will go back to something a bit more sensible once the flares go on. But here's proof you can fit a 8.5J -6 offset wheel under stock guards! (I wouldn't recommend it though). I am running 225/50/15 tyres all round. Suspension consists of camber plates on all four, shortened struts and coilovers, adjustable front control arms.

I have a 1972 240z Vin 94138 with no door jamb build plate. Apparently some parts are different for cars manufactured before and after certain dates. I would appreciate any help.

I'm not familar with the history of the 510 BRE medallions and I don't think it is something I would put on my car, but it looks like good quality work for a reproduction. -Mike
