How many of you have converted a 240z to v8 using a kit? I would like to hear from someone that has about what kit they used and how difficult it was. -Nick Meyer

You folks may already know this, but I just got 2 service books and and resto book from Amazon for the outragous price of $3.75 each, well one was $4.10. They are all used but in very good condition, so if you need a service book or two and don't want to drop $15-25 a piece check out the used ones. Now maybe I won't ask sooooo many questions.......nah... Randy

Anybody using a PDA or phone in their car? What style is it- windscreen mount, vent mount, floor mount, or what? I thought it might be possible to make a bracke that goes on the side of the heater section, or the side of the glovebox, and then attach the PDA mount to that, so it doesn't block the vents, gauges or windscreen. I use a Palm PDA, with GPS & Mapopolis. thx.

I have a 741 240Z and i've been thinking of selling. It's mostly original and in pretty good shape. Just over 40,000 original miles. 4 spd, working (70's aftermaket) A/C. been garaged most of it's life. It has a new radio and non original but 70's era wheels. here are some pictures. http://www.83rdlane.com/240z/ If anyone has suggestions of how I can gauge the value I'd appreciate your suggestions. Thanks for your help.

Ever seen those dolls at car or hotrod shows that are wearing kiddie clothes, and they look like they are crying or moping? Can you give some info about those? What are they formally called? Do you make those? thx

My newly acquired '73 240Z sounds like I'm carrying a bucket of bolts in the back seat... I'm sure the rear struts are toast and I plan to replace them (soon?). In the meantime, are there any greasing points either in the rear struts themselves or the rear suspension in general??? I greased the front end and it made a remarkable difference...

Well I thought I'd show you guys some photo's of what I got for Christmas for my car. My parents got my a Pioneer stereo for it that were going to have installed by Car Toys tomarrow, new shift and e-brake boots, a wheelskin ( 60 minutes to install! ) and a carpet kit for the back which makes it look much cleaner than without one which it didn't have before. what my car looked like without the new carpet kit with the carpet kit, looks much better

Anyone recognize the car in this auction? It has all the classic signs of a scam - new user, no VIN, pre-approved bidders only, yada yada yada. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Z-Series-1971-DATSUN-240Z-COUPE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6187QQihZ014QQitemZ330066398225QQrdZ1

Hello All. First I would like to offer best my wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season to everyone. In my quest for originality, I have been searching for a part which I haven't found on our Parts CD. This is the rubber grommet which is used for the antenna mast and motor drain tube which located in the rear deck below the antenna location. I know that the grommet is shaped similarly to the throttle rod boot in the firewall, but, I would really like to find the real deal. Although the CD has been invaluable to me, I am hoping that some of you may have a more complete paper parts catalog showing a part number for this item. It would, also, be terrific if …

I had to fix my window regulator today on the drivers side(left), and in the process the material inside the chrome window frame just crumbled. I looked at Black Dragon and Motorsports to see what goes back in there and both sites have different parts. Is there two pieces that go back in? A rubber piece and a felt, or is it just a rubber channel? I have no idea. Just to clarify, when you roll the window up, it would be what the top and side of the glass rest in when rolled up. If anyone knows the correct name or part number please let me know. Thanks in advance. Randy
