Is there an OEM replacement for the red Z that goes into the original hubcaps? Or whats the best way of finding these. I got a nice restorable set of covers, but need two center "Z" Thanks, Randy

Today when I was checking the Z I found mice under the cowl. I forgot to block the drain tubes I installed so they climbed up and set up house. So while in there why not remove the wiper linkage and clean it up.Now I know why they didn't work so well.Job went well except the only part I can't find is a nylon washer to replace the felt ones under the pivots.Would those battery synthetic washers work for that?

I purchased a R180 LSD that came without the stub axles. From what I can gather, the ones I need have the same spline count as the 81 - 84 maximas. Anyone have a set or know of a junkyard that does? My LSD swap is pretty dead in the water until I find a set. Thanks in advance! Bryan Dat240zg 240Z #248 240Z #1693

Today I picked up the 1970 Series 1 Z car which I purchased on Ebay yesterday. I found a number of parts in the luggage area including this, what looks to be a skid plate. Is this just a rogue part or does it belong on a Series 1?

I took my parking light lens off my 78 Z to clean and check for rust. When the lens came off, the inside assy was half packed with dirt and half the reflective lens on the inside was half eaten up with rust. Went to Ebay bought a replacement set only to find out they were in the same condition. I came up with an idea a week later. Used a dremel tool with a burr bit and shaved off the 2 heads of the plastic rivets holding the reflective lens in place. I removed the lens and wrapped light cardboard around the back sid side and traced a templet. Then took an aluminum soda can cut it down the side with shop scissors, then cut out the top and bottom. The inside surface is coat…

from the release bearing. So, after I made my inquiry in the drivetrain forum, I went ahead and installed the slightly larger T/O collar (new) onto my transmission. Turns out it was slightly too large too. Recap: My A-series transmission had a T/O collar that was to correct for the year. It measured 1-5/16 in. from the top to the back of the release bearing (I did not know this until last night). The 260z 4-speed I am swapping in had a T/O collar that measured 1-1/8 in. (correct for that year). I bought the 280z collar (you can only buy two now - the small one and the large one) which measures 1.5 in. I went against my better judgement (and because I was excited to …

This is a very rare sale of the collectible 280Z Zzzap. I happened across it today and thought people might be interested in seeing an original car (except for the wheels!) Anyone else have one out there? It will be interesting to see what this car goes for!
