Does anyone know more about the history of these Bob Sharp cars? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bob-Sharp-Racing-GT-33-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-RARE-SURVIVOR_W0QQitemZ250035161602QQihZ015QQcategoryZ6187QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Certainly an interesting vehicle, but get a load of those performance claims! I wonder how much HP this car really puts down? It looks like the stock Fuel Injection system! Also look at the absurd claim of how fast this car has gone: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-DATSUN-240-Z-PACE-CAR-Restoration-Project_W0QQitemZ130035812628QQihZ003QQcategoryZ6187QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I think the coolest car on ebay at this moment is our own members: http://cgi.ebay.com/e…

Hey, maybe someone can help with this.. I just bought a 240 Z in Florida, I live in Toronto, Ontario,Canada. I was going to originaly drive the Z for 1200 miles. Not really sure I want to do this when i don't know the cars history! With the weather changing and the limited time i have I might just transport it.. I looked up a few transport companys it seems that it would be a ton cheaper if i ship it to a address in the US,Buffalo,NY(BORDERS AND ALL).This is where i need some help. Do any one of you live in Buffalo or upper NY? That I can ship the car to your place and pick it up there? I live in Toronto and it would only be a few hour drive from there. I would be shippi…

I found this while wasting some time on ebay motors. It is a kit car that kind of resembles a Z's lines. Certainly is unique. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1965-Jamaican-Sportscar-Great-Cond-RARE-early-Z-look_W0QQitemZ230037039956QQihZ013QQcategoryZ7251QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Hi everyone... A little bit of self promotion if you don't mind... My Z's been published! Yeah! It's on the cover of the October issue of a British mag called RetroCars which I have seen commonly available at the local Barnes&Noble. I just found out and bought a couple copies. I'll scan and post pics tonight as the mag doesn't have any online coverage... Now if only I can get the car to feel as good as it looks in the pics.... -e

I am ordering some stickers from Banzai and want to place them as accurately as possible on the car. The previous stickers are totally gone from my Z so I could use some measurements and pictures to help with placement. Here is what I am getting: DE-02 Anti freeze info decal DE-07 Tune-up/emissions decal DE-09 OK/final inspection sticker DE-10 NIHON radiator decal (on backorder) My car is build date 11/70. Can I ask you guys to help me with measurements and pictures. For example, it would be useful to know on the tune up/emissions sticker (see attached pic) how many inches from the top of the inside of the opened hood the top of the sticker is. Pictures are even…

I knew my car didn't have any significant rust and the rocker panels looked great outside, but this morning I had the interior vinyl off that area for the first time to run some wires. This gave me my first look at the inside of the rocker panels. I had thought there would probably be the beginnings of rust and figured I'd be poking my fingers in those holes with a brushful of Por 15. What a delightful sight I saw. I have attached one photo; excuse me if I seem to gloat. This is a California car, '73, spent its whole life in dry Pleasanton/Livermore till making the trip to my garage last December. Best, Steve
