I found my donor and bought it for an excellent price. I just bought a 83 280ZXT. The motor, oil pressure, temp... is all good. I bought it for $750 and for and extra $50, the owner(cool guy) even towed the turboed Z to me. Damn I don't know if it just me but this thing really boost nice. No fuel cut or vacuum leak. I think this is the best investment i've done so far for my 240Z. check it out... thought I share it with the Z community.

Hello, fellow Z lovers My 1st car was a 1981 280zx and I feel in love. My next car was a real find; i a 1976 280z with 60k original miles and a one owner. BtW: that was in 1991 and I paid $600.00. Since then I have owned a 1984 a 1990 TT and most recently a picked up a one Owner 1981 with 128K for $750.00. No rust or accidents and it had always well maintained. I was planning on restoring it back to new however; I prefer the early 240's and the early 280 body style so I just sold it in hopes of finding a 71. Here is my question. I live in Sacramento and buy and sell later model imports for a living. I am constantly finding clean rust free Z's dirt cheap. Are Z's readily a…

Ok, here's a quick scan (I hope) of my design. Should have done it sooner, but was being protective of my artwork. I am not so good at this computer stuff, so if this didn't work, have a laugh and bear with me. Life is a work in progress... -Mikey

I have ZX wheels on my car and I would like to know if there are any alternative center caps to use instead of the big Z caps. They stick out some and don't look so nice, so I'd prefer something that was flat, like a plate. Should I get those custom made? I think they would just screw in place of the old ones. Get some pics of my idea soon. thx

Any recommendations? I'm looking for a Z specialist to do a pre-purchase inspection on a 240Z in the Denver / Golden area. Thanks, Gary S.

Just finished talking with the guy about this car. It's orange and supposedly has very little if any rust???? Dash is currently off and sitting on the seats, which he said were recaros in very nice condition. Has centerline wheels and trip/webers. No title and wants $900. The car's in SE Hou. Here's his phone #, the one in the ad is not working. (call alex at (713) 637-6990 after 3 pm) Sorry, no pics available when I called. Maybe someone here on that side of town can go look at it and report back. http://houston.craigslist.org/car/199436811.html

Before I eBay one of them, I thought I'd ask here. I've got two owner's manuals for late '71 240Zs, both in decent-but-not-great condition. Does anyone have one for a Series 1 240Z that they'd like to trade? Probably not, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I've corresponded with Mike about an idea I have for selling a Z shirt, and he said it would be okay if I posted on here about it, so I just thought I'd post a thread asking if anybody was interested. For copyright reasons, I'm not ready to post a picture of the design just yet, but I CAN post a link that shows some of my other artwork. Go to: http://www.joesdiecastshack.com/artgallery.htm and check out just the artwork by Zeddmann (that's me) for an idea of the kind of work I do. All those pics are in B&W, but the shirt design, of course, would be in full colour depicting a 240Z in the same style, and I am thinking of printing on black T's. I will say I showed a roug…

I just put a new starter and battery because I was suspecting the starter and battery to be both problems. Now, for sure, the starter was faulty. The battery, maybe at fault also in very hot climate as Vegas (battery only 18 months old). The voltage box has been replaced last year. Now, the problem: The car starts fine but sometimes when the ignition goes to start, it "click, click, click. I close the switch and start again and it goes fine. I checked the terminal that goes to the selenoid. the connector was loose. I replaced the connector. The problem is still there. Further examination of the new starter let me come to this question: The wire from the starter to the selen…
