This ebay listing incorrectly reflects the odometer reading for the car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4644512852&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3AUS%3A1 Seller states the vehicle has 62,000 miles. When the car was being sold by the original family (daughter-in-law was selling for her elderly father-in-law), I was told on two separate occasions that the actual mileage on the vehicle was/is 262,000 miles. She was asking $3000 at the time. I passed on the vehicle as it had several body panels with mismatched paint from previous repairs, some rust issues (imagine that!) and a leaking heater core which left the horsehair padding in both …

Going to buy a numbers matching Series I build date 3/70 today. Pretty complete with minimal rust, $700.00. It needs the drivers front fender replaced and a little work on the frame where the bumper bolts in but it looks to be pretty solid. One small hole in passengers floor pan at the rear of frame rail, and the drivers wheel arch looks to be full of bondo. Overall it is in decent shape, I hope to be able to drive it for a while before I start work on my 73’. I will post some pics tonight when I get home.

Best in show, ZDAYZ 2006 this weekend! Although its mostly 350z's there, more and more early cars are coming out now, and every year, its been a 1st gen. car that has won best in show! Its a people's choice car show, so it shows that even if the old school guys dislike the 350z's, at least the 350z's appreciate our old ones.

My 73 has been sitting in the garage for the last 26 years with fuel in the tank. After reading on this site and others about fuel tank rust problems, I knew I had to know what shape mine was in before trying to get it running. I drained about a gallon of dark brown nasty smelling liquid that had bits of rust flakes in the bottom of the can. The tank came out and a peek inside showed me there was a ball of rust for a sending unit and the bottom was covered in a quarter to half an inch of varnish, laquer, shellac, goo, goop, gunk, or whatever you want to call it. The upper part of the tank is where the flake rust was, where the moisture condensed. The sending unit…

I have currently got a 1976 2+2 260z. I started this project a year ago and since getting it sandblasted have found many surprises. such as It has sustained a hard hit to the left rear quarter which has bent the rear slightly. It has rust under the fuel filler cap, passenger floor (where footrest is), passenger door, along where the tailgate closes, and a few minor areas around the tailgate. The car has the original 5 speed and l26 engine with 240z su's. It still has all the other bit's and pieces like the original mags and centres and a rear spoiler. I hope to have some pictures loaded on and would appreciate your comments on whether to fix this car or wreck or how much …
