I used to carry my car show supplies in a pail, but that seems to be to small for all the chemicals and other stuff ( snacks, sunscreen, radios, etc) that were added to the list. So instead, I think something like a plastic cooler would be good. The kind you can store like 50-60 pop cans in. A strong lid would be good in case you need to sit, and wheels & tow handle might be nice too. Velcro squares about 1 4x4 cm are stuck on the top and you stick certain things to them that you might need while driving, like spare FRS radio, etc. Plus a drain in case you need to carry water or ice, or something leaks. I would cut out the inner tub so you can fit even more st…

Hi guys! Im wondering on your opinions on getting a Z. First let me explain my situation. Im a student in Australia, with limited funds (i have quite a bit in the bank, but very low income). I had an imported Nissan Silvia turbo S13 as my first car which i sold (and made $1000 profit:) ) just before going to uni. I since got a cheap motorbike and have been using this for transport. After not having a car for over a year and a half, i deeply regret selling my car, which i really did love (spent 3 years reading up on them and doing nothing jsut to save for it and it was in mint condition!). So anyway, i am very passionate about cars and would like a classic Japanese car to…

Well I have moved to Hamilton, Ontario and my Z is in need of some work. I am looking for a good mechanic in the area around here. There are a few to the north of Toranto, but that is kinda far and I would like someone closer. Any body in the area have a suggestion. I had a such a nice mechanic in Houston. The kind of guy who would let you borrow the lift or a tool when needed and when he wrote up the bill you never felt like you were getting ripped off. I would like to find someone else with whom I can build a similar relationship with.

Hey all, One of the highlights of my weekend was getting to know our founder, host, and all around great guy Mike Gholson. Mike spent his weekend taking pictures and participating in the West Coast Nationals events to make sure all this site's members and visitors could experience the event through his pictures and posts. Everytime I looked around Mike was off talking to another Z enthusiasts. He had time for everybody and listened intently to anyone that wanted to share a Z story with him (and there were a lot of them). Mike is a very busy guy professionally, so we are all very lucky that he takes time out of his life to maintain this site and put up with a lot of crazi…

talking with an engineer friend of mine, he said what i wanted to do (build car in stages) just wouldn't do. he contends that as soon as you start to put serious brakes and race rubber on the car, you'll overstress the factory unibody. So by the time your ready to build the simple rollbar into a full cage, there won't be any car left to attatch it to. any thoughts? also, how limiting is the strut suspension and have any of you converted to a different configuration? if so, what?

I got to thinking and was wondering how long have most people had their Z? Some of us have had many over the years and some have just got theirs.

I'm looking for a stock 240 in great shape for a magazine photo shoot to be done in the New England area on or before May 17th. I know that's not a lot of notice but I just found out myself. PM or email ASAP if you and your 240 are available to do this. A great opportunity to have it shown nationally.

It's been quite some time since I've posted here, and I'm sad to say that this post is to point you to my classified ad for my Z. Take a look if you're in the market for a very clean 240Z. I'd like to add my thanks to the many people that frequent this site that have always been so kind and generous. This is a great community and even though I'm selling my Z, I'll always be a Z owner at heart.
