I was wondering if there were any right hand drive Z in the states? I would love to find a Z but a car that is right hand drive would just make it that much more fun. Or if you guys happen to know of another cool car that is right hand drive that is in the states please let me know.

Hello, My first car was a 240 Z, and the time has come to put one back in the stable. Where do you recommend that I look. I have a pretty good idea to look for rust, and no that no 240 Z is 100% rust free. What is a nice clean weekend garage queen going to cost me? Any good Z shops in Orange County, CA? Thanks Michael

Does anyone put together a complete bolt replacement kit for the 240z... I am putting a lot of time and money into the car and I dont want to put the old rusted bolts back in. Pretty much every bolt, fender, hinges, hood, brackets, etc...

I have an '81 280zx and sometimes I have a terrible gas smell and sometimes not. I have had three different mechanics check it and nothing is found. One put a dye in the gas tank and found nothing. I know that when you fill the tank, there are sometimes problems, but this is not the situation here. I would be grateful to anyone because it is a really frustrating problem

Judging from the single picture, brief description and considering it is a California car, this looks to be a very nice deal for someone: http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/6/9/83803169.htm Here's some more that are even cheaper: http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/6/8/83596968.htm http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/4/1/83798341.htm http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/3/7/83747837.htm http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/8/0/83208480.htm http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/8/6/83801486.htm http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/7/0/83803170.htm http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/0/1/835…

Can anyone steer me in the right direction for an intake manifold for my SU's.I've been polishing out this set but the casting is so poor that it won't clean up. It seems that the earlier castings like the 46 are worse then an e-88 casting.I thought there was a guy named Matt who had several sets he was selling. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I was in a local restaurant a couple of days ago, and my '78 280Z was parked to the right of a big pick 'em up truck. We were both pointed out into the lane of traffic. The 'older' gentleman that owned the truck apparently got in it, pulled out, and turned right a little too early. The lower panel of his truck, just in front of his right rear tire hit the left side of my front bumper, on the plastic end piece. He moved about 3 feet after he started hearing the "squeal" of his truck rubbing along that plastic. He came back in to get me, leaving his truck in place so I could back up and try to minumize any further damage. So I backed up. And looking at the two…

My wife and kids were gone for the last two weeks, so I spent that time working on my 1973 240Z. Over the two weeks, I removed the old and installed all new weatherstrip (Precision Weather Strip Kit from Motorsport Auto), had my first experience with POR-15, adjusted my valve lash, changed my oil, lubed the chassis and installed one of Dave’s (aka “Zs-ondabrainâ€) headlight harnesses. I thought I’d summarize a few of my lessons learned as they may be useful to some of you out there. 1. Weatherstrip - The biggest pain with installing new w/s is removing the old w/s and adhesive. My wife has a heat gun which was a big help for softening the old rubber and adhesive…

Well, Southern CAlifornia weather has no allowed me to strat refreshing my Z. It has 24,000 miles and my Faher-in-law purchased it new, and has been in his garage for MANY years. The tags on the plate are from 1982. Thought that I would post some pictures for all to see. At least the car does not need Mull to rebuild it. You can't detail from the photo, but the dealer installed wheels have the original Bridgestone tires. Think that I am going to remove the tires and reinstall them on the original steel wheels sitting in my shed. Getting ready to pull the carbs and send them to Z Therapy. I had hoped to have the car running for the MSA weekend, but doubt it now. …
