My 280Z has been in the airplane hangar since Thanksgiving ( in Ohio). Do you think I should go out with a battery and crank it over, or start it up? I'd like to drive it around the airport to warm the oil, but you can't do it by yourself, so I'll have to just let it run where it is. thx

Well after a year and a half at the body shop(my buddy made me a deal, he wouldn't charge me a lot and he would work on it when he had spare time) and back in my garage for two months, I have my early model 1971 240Z all done. It started right up and I drove it around the block. I would like to thank everyone that helped me in my journey. The past two months were all very long days, filled with a job and then putting the car back together. It will be good spending time with my wife and son again. Check out my gallery. I believe the car is beautiful. Happy New Year! Rick.

I don't know if this is the right forum for this,so if not just let me know. Just over a month ago I was in real need of the FSM for my 70/71Z. 26th-Z went out of his way and sold me 2 FSM's for 90 dollars. That is half what I have seen them sell for. This christmas I received a set of new ones plus a couple of used ones.I would like return the favor and offer the set I got from 26th-Z for the same price he sold them to me for 90.00 for the pair that go with the 70Z. If no one wants them I will sell them on e-bay or if 26th-Z wants them back I will work that out with him. They are in great shape and was real helpful to me but since I have more I would like to see someone in…

Hello everyone. I am just saying hi. I've got a 1 owner (my moms) '71 240Z in almost completely original condition. It's been sitting for a while in a garage and hasn't received good enough attention so while I am home I will fix a few things here and there. Anyways, I am not really familiar with Z cars in general, but I have been working on all sorts of different cars for a number of years. So any help is much appreciated. Also, where do you guys get your parts? We have a supplier (Victoria British) in town that has a good number of parts but not everything. Ok, enough rambling...

I gave myself a crash course in HTML and put my 'project' on the web. It's still a work in progress. I'm surprised that the URL was available.. http://www.project280z.com
