I am too cheap to spend $150 a pair for the chrome and rubber replacements. I have seen where you can buy the rubber only for around $50-$75/pair and they suggest epoxying them onto the old chrome piece in lieu of the original ones being stapled on, but I doubt that works well. Anyone tried this? I have even purchased a 36" commercial window squeegee for $3 to see if I could make it work...but unlikely will.

Greetings, I just purchased a 1978 280Z. It has chrome bumper guards on the front and rear bumpers, rear window louvers and pinstripes. I know these weren't standard equipment because I purchased one new in 1978 and it didn't have these features. But, I was told that this was a special rally package, or something of the sort, that could be purchased at sale time. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you,

Hey guys, Just wondering if theres any 260z owners out that would give me some input if my car is running right. On a strait away i can barly get this car above a 100mph...I know somthing is deffinalty wrong B/c when you open the glove box u see the tire pressure Recommendations ... Over 100 and under 100../.. yea this is Definitely tellin me somthing is wrong.. In the car im runin a L28 engine out of a 280z with a 4 speed tranny.. as for the carbs go i have an earlyer set off off SUs out of a 71' 240z...Also as in regards to Mpg.. im getting under 20 mpg. Is that normal? i know this car needs a tune up... Thanks, Steve Z you later...

Holy crap, Classic Motorsports new issue has an article on the 1970 era of sportscars. TR6, Volvo, MGB, 240Z etc. They screwed up and put a picture of the TR6 engine compartment on the parge with the 240Z. Cars were similar in color. Oh. I think I'm gonna die here. oh...oh...oh

As the subject says I'm a little curious as to how much an LD28 crank would sell for on average second hand? I should be getting one in a couple of weeks off a guy importing a few to downunder however I've been watching a few on ebay and looking into shipping costs and it seems like it might work out a bit cheaper provided the LD28 stays under a certain price. .
