Can i do this? I heard most cars from the 70s + can run on this stuff without problems, but i wanted to be sure before i do it. Right now its about $.10 cheaper than normal gas so i thought i might try and save some $$ by using it. I didn't see anything in the manual about it.

What percent were auto transmissions and what percent were manual transmissions in 240-260-280z cars over the production runs?

I'am currently thinking about buying a 240z. Does anyone know the stock height of a 240z, also the length. Whats lowest height anyone has lowered their car? And do you know what the curb weight of the car is? thank you Tom

Hi I am wondering if any one knows what the wheels are on the car in the attached photo? I am thinking they are older wheels from HRE but I am not sure and have no idea of the model. Thanks for the help.

Only a few hours left on this one. Heavy on the rust, but should be more than $250 worth of parts. Too far from home for me.

I got a free 280Z about a month ago and finally got off my tail to do something with it. I am planning to pull the drivetrain to put into my 72 240. Charged up the battery and turned the key. It started. Previous owner said that it has been sitting for over a year. I ran it out of gas so I guess it is time to clean the tank and fuel filter. Looks like a good canidate for a fuel injected 240. I guess I have a lot of 280 excess parts. Let me know if anyone is looking. I am keeping the driveline complete for myself and one fender for the 240. Good doors and some misc interior parts. Good summer teardown project.

Old Z folks (the cars not the people) Looks like sombody may be buying the "doesn't need much" nice green 240Z I've shown here. So...there's a "fixer-upper" '76 280Z with an alleged 70K miles, I'm considering. You know, one of those "pay me now, or pay me later" situations. Runs and drives pretty darn good. Very tight body and steering, good brakes. Feels like it may have those 70K miles. Basically sat for the last 4-5 years. Hoses, belts and some gaskets have already been replaced. No leaks, no smoking, some injector clicking. This 280Z is rust free (always a Central Cal car)...but....there's alway a but...while solid mechanically...needs cosmetics: faded orginal sil…
