Hello, I had a very good time in the national convention last year in L.A.I wanted to enter the stock class as I did same in 2000 Las vegas convention. But there was a mistake, all the 17 Japanese owners were entered in the daily driver class. It was an accident. But I do not know exactly what was going on. For me,it was a disappointment because I prepared a lot for this convention and I think I did good job on my 240Z.But it is O.K.,because I have been taking my 240Z on the road very often since the restoration have completed in 2000.Now my Z's ODO got 19,990miles on it in 5 years.I drove my Z in the rain, snow little bit,I always enjoy the driving. Sometimes I think…

Classic Motorsports magazine is soliciting feedback for their latest project car: a 1970 240Z (04/70 production date). Here is a link to the thread in case anyone is interested in sharing their viewpoint: http://www.grmotorsports.com/board/viewtopic.php?p=85261#85261 The car is slated to debut in the next issue (July 2005-- bi-monthly production) and the magazine would like to know which way to proceed. :classic:

I picked up a diecast model today that had been ordered a couple of months ago. I know there's been some back and forth postings on which manufacturer is best, but I can't fault the model I bought today of a 1970 Datsun 240Z, scale 1:18, made in China by Yat Ming for the princely sum of $39.50 Aust. Even with my glasses on, my four eyes can't fault the detail. The only fault is that they must have mirrored the plans 'cause the steering wheel's all wrong. It's on the LEFT !!!!!!!! Their website is interesting, www.yatming.com Rick.

Hello all, Came out of work tonight and saw that my car had been hit in the front driver's fender. I work down of river street here in savannah, georgia, and parking is never fun. Anyhow, there is a full size dodge ram van beside it at a really terrible angle. His fender had white paint on it, my color, and was the same level of the impact. I wrote down his info and called the police. The owner of the van comes down and says he saw a car hit it twenty minutes ago and take off. He couldn't provide any details. The police officer said he thinks the van might be the culprit, but he couldn't cite him...ect. ect. He included the guys info in the report and told him an inv…
