   Engine vin# is different the car vin#

   I still have not put that 71 240Z out of my mind but I am wondering would there be a problem registering the car if the engine vin# is different then car vin# number located on the dash???? The owner does have the original engine for the car !!! I live in Florida !!!! Has anyone else delt with this problem ??? The engine is fairly new and how much does it hurt the value of the car !!!!!

   I am going to look at a 71 240Z tomorrow and from the pictures I have received the engine bay has quite a bit of undercoating along the fire wall the battery tray and along some of the side fenders and frame rails is that normal it is a Florida car!!!! Is that something the dealer does it sure looks ugly!!!! I will making almost a five hour ride each way to look at the car any tips what to look for besides the obvious !!!!

   Hey i was wondering just out of curiousity has someone made their own set of bumers? I had a idea, maybe somebody could take a set of bumpers and use em as like a press to bend aliminum or stainless steele into new bumpers. Then you would have rust proof bumpers, and matyber they would be cheaper then buying new ones. Has anyone tried this? Or is anyone interestead in trying this? Anyone have any ideas?    Whenever I hit a decent bump in my '71, my wipers will pop up several inches, the worse the bump, the more they move. Anyone have a quick fix for this? Thanks...Robert

From the TV commercial, I recognized the names they dropped as NASCAR drivers ( NOT real driving) there's only one IRL, one champ-car (aka nascar), and one outlaw driver. he list is so short, they shouldn't even have bothered to have a vote!     I got a problem I don't know quite how to approach. Occasionally when I am driving my 72' 240Z I get to a stoplight. The thing is when i go to accelerate the car either stalls or sputters for quite a few seconds than it kicks in.I was just wondering whether anybody else has had a similar problem and/or they know how i can fix it?
