I'd really like to meet people with Z's in Ontario. Especially people in the Windsor area!

Hi all, I am trying to find some technical drawings of the 240 & 260 2+2 so I can decide which one to by and how to modify to take a wheel chair. I found some on the net but the res is so low I cannot make out the details or read any measurements. I really need some help fast if any one out there knows anything I would appreciate a message. I am unable to locate a muffler for my 72 240Z. The local NAPA store and foreign auto parts store says they cannot get one for me. Any suggestions for a source for the muffler. Any help will be greatly appreciated. George Murtha

Weber Carbs

This forum sounds cool. I'm not a member yet because I don't seem to have time to log on, but I have a topic I need some global information on. I'm looking at putting on the twin webers for my '73 240. The kit they have is the K 688. It has a very long manifold that I've been told is hard to dial in, especially at altitude (6000 ft.) Apparently they no longer make the non SMOG approved shorter mainfolds. So what's the deal and what are the options?

I recently purchased a relatively rust free california 71 240z series 1 car. it has triple mikunis and I am undecided on whether to remain with these. They appear to be running find but long term will it be more practical, economical to have some other brand?

This is my first post, and i would like to say this site is great, its been a big help already, and I only discovered it 2 weeks ago. Last month I bought a 73 240z, and I love it. It is my second zcar, first was an 81 280zx, I enjoy the earlier models much more. Anyway, my driverside window doesnt close properly, and I am putting a new regulator in this week, but water has already done its damage to the driverside floorboard. The rear hatch also leaks a bit in bad rain, I still need to check out the damage there. My question is, what is the best way to fix the problem? I would like to patch it with new sheet metal, but would appreciate any advice before i begin. Ag…

Rebuilding a 260Z for my son. Pulled intake/exhaust maniforlds and found one broken exhaust stud (front of motor). Also, cam oiler was not working and the cam is badly discolored. Most of the valves were too tight, I reset. My questing is, should I do a valve job on this head and install a 280Z cam or just look for a good 280Z head/cam. What year 280Z cam or head should I look for. Thanks for any help you can give. Cheers

Brakes in my 260 Z (that looks like a 240)

I just bought a 1974 260 Z. it looks identical to the 240 though. Anyways, that has nothing to do with anything. The only problem with it (aside from a bit of rust on the framerails) is that the brake pedal is incredibly squishy. I'm 17, and this is my first car, so I don't know what the problem could be. Can anyone help?

I am rebuilding a 73 Z for show and mostly fun. I bought the aero kit from motorsport auto, glass nose from JC Witney, and fender flares from Victoria British. The fr. flares are great, they come out from the fender in a concave shape. The rear set I am not satisfied with they are a bubble shape or convex. The car hasen't gone to the body shop yet, none of these parts are on. I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that sold the concave style flare for the rear. I had a set like that installed on a 72 Z I had in te 80's so they at least did exist at one time. Motorsport and Victioria B have allways been a great help but didn't have this. Can anyone help?
