Hello, fellow Z lovers My 1st car was a 1981 280zx and I feel in love. My next car was a real find; i a 1976 280z with 60k original miles and a one owner. BtW: that was in 1991 and I paid $600.00. Since then I have owned a 1984 a 1990 TT and most recently a picked up a one Owner 1981 with 128K for $750.00. No rust or accidents and it had always well maintained. I was planning on restoring it back to new however; I prefer the early 240's and the early 280 body style so I just sold it in hopes of finding a 71. Here is my question. I live in Sacramento and buy and sell later model imports for a living. I am constantly finding clean rust free Z's dirt cheap. Are Z's readily a…

My first new car was an orange 1972 240Z. I was young, drove the devil out of it and had to sell it two years later as the insurance co. wanted 1,200/year (1974 dollars --- a third of the new purchase price). Something about 7 tickets and 1 accident.... I got a 75 280Z in 78 and quickly hated it and regreted buying it as it was no match for the car I loved. I had been hunting a year for a Z to get to work on in my semi retirement, I only work 3 days a week now, and found one on ebay I really liked. It was billed as a factory restoration that failed to be completed. I went and saw it and fell in love. Taking with the owner, I decided I would finish the job if I won and…

Hi Everyone, I recently discovered this site (isn't the internet amazing?)because I have a renewed interest in Z cars. I am impressed by the contributions made to the forums because of the level of expertise, enthusiasm and helpfulness. Additionally, the archive of threads seems so deep that a unique question would be difficult to find. I had a 260Z for a short while about ten years ago but it didn't run and I moved and... Anyway, I live in West Palm Beach now and wondered if there are any active local Classic Z Clubs. Thanks, FLCARGUY.

Have my second '70 Z. First one was in '70. Little things are driving me nuts but it is a solid car with the original engine rebuilt.

I'm 21 years old and have owned a 71' 240z for about a year and a half now.. And hopefully I will be keeping it for many more years to come.. Well..I really don't have anything else to say, I just started college after working a couple of years after high school. I'm studying constructional engineering (at least that's what I think its called) Anyway, here's my car..
