Hello, I am a new member as of today. I guess I will tell you a little about myself... My name is Terry and I am 20 years of age. I drive a 2002 BMW 330ci and a 1978 Datsun 280z. I also have a 72 240z (rolling chassis) which I havent gotten started on yet. The bimmer is my daily get around and my Z is still awaiting an engine. I live just north of Chicago, which sucks because I cant drive the Z in the winter. I am a huge Zcar person, I cant get enough. I hope to cruise with you guys sometime and I am looking forward to talking/doing business with all of you in the future. BTW>: I have a 383 Stroker V8 in the classified section that would be a killer set up in a Z with…

I have owned about 130 cars, sports cars, hot rods and trucks, I don't remember any of them being as much fun as this Z. I bought my 74 260z off of ebay for $975.00. I was in China at the time and bored. I put the car in my watched items, and when the auction came to an end I had bought the car with the first and only bid of $975.00. The car was in New Mexico, and I live in Houston. When I told my wife that I had bought this car, and that we would have to go get it, I was kind of worried, as I allready own 4 vehicles, and she doesn't drive (no prob?). I have always wanted a first gen Z, but had never owned one. The seller said the car ran good and went down the road good.…

I bought my 1977 280Z when I graduated from college in 1982. It's a blue two-seater, dead stock, 4-speed, with dealer installed factory sunroof and rear-window louvres, in great condition. Also has Japanese market rear amber blinkers, stock in Japan but not in the US. We put it in storage 11 years ago when I was pregnant with our second daughter and couldn't fit behind the steering wheel anymore, and obviously couldn't put two child car seats in it. My wonderful loving husband, who knew how much I missed driving my Z, rebuilt the engine this last winter, did some other minor repairs and now it's back on the road again and driving great! The engine had 162,700 miles o…
