Hi i'm David. I live in the gold mining town of Kalgoorlie ,Western Australia. My fun car is a 1976 Datsun 260z 2x seater with a 250 GTO ferrari body kit fitted. The kit has been modified to keep the rear quarter windows. So above the window line it is Datsun and below it is the 1960's look. I don't have any Ferrari stickers or badges on it only Datsun, and I made my own side stickers with a Z and the southern cross on a yellow shield with the Australian flag colours. The motor is rebuilt with triple 40mm Dellortos, 5 speed gearbox and a R200 diff with a Phantom Grip centre from the States. Front brake upgrade to 300mm drilled and slotted rotors and 1 inch master cylinde…

I have just bought a 240z for my daughter. The person who had it rebuild the engine and tranny, put in new floor pans, rebuit the brakes and front end and then got tired of it and just wanted $900 for it so I jumped on it. I am going to finish for my daughter and if she is lucky and I don't fall in love with it myself I will give it to her. Coy

Hi to all other members. Hope this website proves helpful over time. I bought a very nice (but neglected) '72 240Z about a year and a half ago, and I've finally started a systematic refurbishing of the whole car. I'm finding some parts are not obtainable, e.g. can anyone tell me where I can find a replacement for the intake manifold thermostat unit that connects to the rear carb intake manifold? Some say this unit can be eliminated, or by-passed, but I figure it is there for a good reason. Ditto the heater box assembly that holds the heater core and has the flaps that redirect air to the various ducts. Mine is quite rusted and distorted, but I may be able to salvage…

Greetings all. Recently transplanted to NC from Maine where my '72 Z is. Car hasn't run in a few years-needs new wiring harness-any sources? Its that or sell the ol' girl to a worthy home which I'm not ready for yet. After all, its the second car I ever owned! Any decent shipping ideas? Timing is not critical, but $$ is. Many thanks.

Hi everyone, my name is D.J. and I'm 19 years old. I just recently picked up a 1971 240Z. I've actually wanted a Z for quite a few years now and every time I was about to get one something seemed to go wrong so I'm extremely happy now that I finally got my hands on one. I'm new to the old school Z world but I've been a Nissan/Datsun fanatic for a few years now. My first car was a 1992 240SX which I still own and plan on making a full-time road course car. The Z I'd like to restore and turn it into a gorgeous (and fast) daily driver...that is of course once I graduate from college and pay off my student loans.

Hello Fellow Z owners, I have had my z about 18 months. I bought it from a pilot in the Airforce, who was stationed at Barksdale. He was the original owner purchasing on Guam and he took real good care of it. I am interested in establishing waht year it is by the vin number. Spazcar:rambo:
